I am looking for a new pedi for my 20 month old and our newest to be born in about 3 weeks. I need one who is respectful of parental decisions to either delay or decline certain vaccs, and would love to find one who isn't pushing meds, but allows the child to heal naturally if that seems possible. It would be great if he/she was also open to alternative medical approaches like chiropractic, homeopathics, etc. and is respectful of the choice to home birth with a midwife. Not like I'm asking for much, huh? Anyway, if you have a pedi that you like that you think might fit the bill, would you let me know who and where? I really need a new pedi ASAP (we have tried several without success in the last 20 months). Thank you!!!
Thank you all so much! Since making my request of you, I have also heard Dr. Pierre Robert recommended by ladies at my chiropractor's office, so I will give him a call. It is good to know that he is generally well respected and liked, and that those of you who have experience with him think that he would fit my needs/desires. I have heard that he is hard to get in with, but maybe he will be open to new patients and take my insurance. :-)

Hi. I have been going to Dr Nina Cahan in Coppell for almost 10 years. We LOVE her. She is very sweet and nurturing. She never rushes you out of the door and is always willing to listen. Dr Nina is actually a GP but is very open to natural remedies. I do delayed Vaccinations for both of my kids and she is very understanding to my needs and concerns.

Not asking too much at all I highly second the recommendation of Dr. Robert. He has been great for my boys and is VERY knowledgeable on nutrition, alternative medicine etc. Give him a call you will not regret it.
