Hello moms,
I was wondering what other moms do for part time work or if there is a legit work from home opportunity.
I currently stay home with my two girls, but times are tough, everyone knows about the economy and I am looking for ways to help keep our family afloat. I would love to be able to still be at home with my girls during the day. What are your part time jobs? What do you do for stay at home work? Any and all suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks in advance.
J.

Hi J.!

I had started my own business with The Body Shop At Home 3 months after I had my first child. I will be celebrating my 4 year anniversary on September 1st! I absolutely LOVE it!

It is a home party plan, but it is very interactive with the guests...as who doesn't like to be pampered? We have 4 different "theme" parties.

Peppermint Foot Fun which everyone does their own pedicures...NO I do not touch feet to answer that question! We also do Spa Experience with products that are for the whole body but guests can choose to do their hands or their feet. They learn how to cleanse, polish, and protect the skin. We also have make-overs and facials! What is really great is that I didn't need to know anything when I started. They give you these note cards that have everything on it for each theme party from what to say, and when and what to pass out for product!

It definately does not feel like work, everyone has a fabulous time, and we get paid very well. We earn a base pay of 25% of our sales with the potential to earn a 5-15% bonus on top of the 25%, determined by your monthly sales.

I would love to talk with you and get together to show you the products and answer any questions that you may have. Feel free to check out my website to learn a bit more at: www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/jcolecchi or give me a call at ###-###-####.

It really is a blessing to be able to stay home with my 2 children and still bring income into the household by doing something that is fun and very enjoyable to me! I also have a "Brianna", who is now 1 1/2 and my son, Tyler, who is now 4!

I look forward to talking with you and hope that I can be of assistance in your quest!

Take Care!

Hi J.! I too was looking for a way to be at home with my kids, 2 boys 6 & 8, a 21 year old "Young man" away in OH for college and an 18 year old daughter home on break from Chester College of New England. My husband works very hard as well and is very dedicated to our family too, but we all know the state of our economy, so PT work really became necessary. I am a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. The hours I work are incredibly flexible. We just celebrated 45 years of the Mary Kay business, serving and encouraging women. (I, however, have been doing this for not quite a year and a half.) It is so fun, that I sometimes forget it is work! I mean, what other job do you get to get together with the "gals" and do make overs! If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact me. ###-###-####. And please leave a message if I don't answer and I will be sure to call you back, ASAP. Where do you live, J.? I am located in New Ipswich, NH. Wishing you wisdom as you decide what is best for your family, V. W.

I work full-time, but I also have two part-time jobs. My first one that I started about a year ago was Home & Garden Party. I really like to go out and meet new people. It is something that you can do at night time or weekends. Your hours are up to you. www.homeandgardenparty.com. The other one that I do is AVON. This pretty much sells itself and it only costs $10 to join. I feel that this is pretty easy. www.youravon.com/jlabonte. Good luck in your search. It is a hard one.
