Ok so I work full time now sun-wed. I really am in need of additional income. I don't want to have pay for any more childcare then I already pay, so I'm trying to find a job where I can take her along. A childcare center, church program, anything. I am very skilled. I work as a full time Insurance Claims Agent. I'm a great/fast typist, can do office type work, but I would have to be able to bring my daughter along as well. Anyone have any suggestions for something I can do WITH my daughter to make additional income?? She is 3.. Thanks! Edit: I'm not really looking for a work at home, I'd like to work for a company and get a paycheck, not start up my own business. Thanks so much for the reponses

What can I do next?

I'm currently working with Easter Seals and Champion Employment Services. I work both of these jobs part time. Easter Seals isn't as busy, definitely 20 hours and under a week. Some weeks I didn't have work, it all depends on their workload.

With Champion Employment Services, I just started with them a few weeks ago. I'm getting two clients and I'll be looking for a job for them, pretty much from home. However, some of the work you go out in the community and to the clients work. I've met with one of my clients and will be meeting my 2nd client soon. You can work as much as you want or as little as you want. The downside is you don't get paid till you find someone a job or meet their benchmarks. All Clients are from DARS and have a disability. We are paid by the State of Texas, as it is a contract with DARS (Department of Rehabilitative Services). It might be something you are interested in. Here is Jimmy Gibson's number ###-###-#### or 1-877-658-7982. He is the owner and General Manager. When you meet a client, you wouldn't be able to take your kids with you, however once you have met them, then you could work from home!

Have you thought about the YMCA or somewhere where there is childcare. Some companies provide childcare. How about a church with a preschool? What about Gymboree or the gyms for kids that you can work there and teach classes? Not sure if you could bring your child there or not, worth checking into. I would do a search online for companies that have childcare at their workplace. Maybe it won't cost any extra or it might come out of your paycheck. That's all I can think of.

Why not start your own business from home? How about one that you could incorporate into your full-time job? You are EXACTLY the type of person that AVON would love to have an independent representative. AVON could easily fit into your life as you live it now. Could you take brochures to your co-workers? How about to your daughter's daycare? Right there is a wonderful customer base at your disposal.

With AVON there are no sales quotas. There is not inventory requirement. You can earn up to 50% commission - you actuall START out earning 50% - on your sales. AVON is the top selling beauty company in the world. AVON has been around for over 120 years and has remained a strong company. We are not going to fall by the wayside as other compnaies have done. Why does AVON has this staying power? AVON researches their products with the top dermatologists in the country and also does market studies and studies on the buying trends. This company started out with a lone book sales MAN who saw the potential when he stumbled upon what the women of America wanted. He was trying to sell more books, but actually found a whole new business. "Ain't America Grand!" Staying true to the founder's original ideal for his new business, AVON strives to ensure excellence of product and affordability.

I am obviously an AVON independent representative and I must say that I just love my job! I only recently started back with AVON just before Christmas when my cousin (who I got started in AVON eight years ago) showed me how much money she is making. I cannot believe the potential for income. It was unreal. It is all because AVON is so affordable. Did you know that you could go to a department store and pay between $400 and $700 for a product that AVON offers for only $54? And AVON's is double the strength!! Guess what else, I do not even sell AVON. I simply hand out the brochures and AVON sells itself. I simply take the orders (in person or over the phone) and deliver them with a new brochure. It is really just that easy.

I absolutely LOVE my job. I don't envision myself ever going back to the "workforce." They cannot pay me enough! Plus, I get to stay home with my kids and spend time with them. As a single mother of two, who homeschools my son because of health issues, AVON has been a huge blessing to me.

Oh! I want to tell you too, there is a lady just North of Dallas who is also an independent representative and AVON sends her a check every two weeks for roughly $8000. Is that not FANTASTIC!? Can you imagine that? That is just where I have set my goal. The truly AMAZING part is that she was able to do all this with a mere $10 investment? How many other companies offer such a low start up fee? Not many, I'd venture.

If you would like to know more about your own opportunity at AVON, please email me at ____@____.com. I could go on and on about my "job" as an AVON Independent Sales Rep. Did I mention that I LOVE my job?

I hope to hear from you soon, but want to stress that I wish you luck in whatever you choose to do.
