I'm looking for a part time job, which is confusing b/c I havn't worked outside the home in 3 years. I don't know what I want to do, or where to start looking. My hours open are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, which sort of limits me.
Anyone have a clue where I could get started with these days?
I just need to make enough to pay for my kid's private school ($400 a month) and spending money.

If you know anyone that has an infant and going back to work you could offer to watch the baby. I started watching my neighbors baby a few days a week and they are paying $75 a day.

Honestly, I have known a lot of people who've had a lot of luck through staffing agencies. A lot of local employers will only hire via staffing agencies (Kelley, Adecco, etc) which will then lead to permanent employment down the road.

I'm not in a profession that embraces part-time employment, but I think it would be fabulous to squeeze 40 hours into 3 days and have 2 more to be with my family and to run errands when the rest of the world isn't at Walmart.

Good luck!

Start looking in the papers, Craigslist.org, Careerbuilder.com, Americanjobs.com, and places like that.

Also, there should be some summer camps coming up, that might be a start, the YMCA or a fitness center.........type in on the internet, part time jobs in Arlington TX.....and see what you get.

Good Luck.....

Hi,
I don't know if you're looking for a job specifically outside the home or not, but I am working from home, and it's been great for me. There are great income potentials - you can completely replace a corporate income in about 6 months, if you work at it. I'd love to get you more information, if you're interested. There's some great informational presentations that are great for letting you know exactly what it is that we do, and the income potentials. If you're intersted, send me a message, email me ____@____.com with a good time to connect with you. Or you can ask for more information from my website www.workathomeunited.com/joycita
Good luck!

substitute teaching thats what i do. all u need is atleast 60 college hours, but if you only have a high school diploma you can sub for a classroom aide or for a secertary. it is a very flexible job you make your own schedule and if you have a bachelors degree you will get called more than anybody i know because i get called all the time. it is also good to apply in the school district that you live in. some schools pay a high as 80 dollars a day! you can get 400 dallars in on month really easy or you can make more but it depends on how often you are willing to work. hope you will check it out!

I found the perfect work from home job a couple of months ago. I am still working full-time, but hope to be working exclusively from home some day. It has been a life saver because I’m able to get some extra money by putting in a couple hours a week. You can work at your own pace and make your family’s schedule BEFORE your work schedule. This may be something that works for you and your schedule. If you’re interested, let me know and we can talk more.
