Does anyone know about any parks in the Carrollton, Lewisville, Plano area that are great for the little ones "toddlers" and great place for a Birthday.

Hi,

Off of Heads Lane is Mary Heads Park. It has Kiddie Korral (a nice playground) and a covered pavilion area. I think you have to reserve the pavilion with the City of Carrollton. We live just across the bridge from the park and use it frequently for recreation and exercise. There is a path around it that people use to walk. We see many families playing here and enjoying this facility.

Also, an added bonus right now... Bluebonnets are in full bloom there! A great photo op!

Coppell has a great park called Kid Country off of Denton Tap and Parkway next to the Aquatic Center.

Breckinridge Park in Richardson seems to be the local favorite. It has restrooms, a covered pavillion, lots of trees and an AWESOME playground.

How about Kid's Country in Coppell. It is close to Lewisville/Carrolton and it is beautiful.

The park at the nature preserve in west Plano -- Arbor Hills Nature Preserve -- is really good, located off Parker, west of the Tollway. Beautiful, nice and has many different playground equipment - slides, swings -- for big kids and it has a separate toddler section. And it has a covered pavillion right there in the middle of the playground. If you choose this location, be specific and ask for the covered picnic area that is in the middle of the playground so you can be near the kids. There's another larger pavillion area (separate from the playground). Anyway...it's a nice park! Good luck!
