My daughter wants to redecorate her room. The theme? Paris; I am looking for a nice comforter set. Any suggestions or websites?

What can I do next?

I love this one.

A friend of mine did her bathroom with Paris and wrote paris words in black on pink walls. Like oooh la la and C'est la vie
She also wrote on the mirror. did the accents in silver and black.
OK my 12 year old just saw the pink poodle room. I'm doomed.

Hi...I am an interior designer (with a degree from UNT) turned SAHM. I am really starting to miss designing, and would love to help you out!! You can check out my design blog and see some of my past projects at www.nestdesigns.blogspot.com.
Kids rooms are actually my favorite! And since I basically just do design on the side now for fun, I don't charge much either!
If you just want to do it yourself though, I would recommend checking etsy.

Check out Jamie Harrington's series on Burb M. about re-decorating her girl's room entirely from Etsy. When you said Paris, it reminded me of a few elements. Everything that she has found is soooo unique and I am sure those shops have other things that might be exactly what you are looking for.

Here is the link to the series: http://www.burbmom.net/tag/donated-room/

My daughter is doing the same with her room, she is 12. We love the site www.wakeupfrankie.com. This is a company started bý a teenage girl, they have some of the neatest teen bedding I have ever found. Of couse we have used it mainly for ideas. But did purchase a duvet cover and pillow shams. Be sure to check out the "garage sale page" that is the clearance page, hope you find what you are looking for!!

My daughter has a Paris themed room. Got a lot of stuff from Target. You can also check out wakeupfrankie.com. They have a lot of cool bedding for teen girls.

Hobby Lobby ha a lot of Paris themed decorations, if you cannot find bedding you could always jut do the bright pink and black bedding. Maybe find some Paris themed throw pillows.

Have you thought about having a custom dust ruffle and comforter, pillows etc. made for her. The pictures are downloaded and printed onto fabric . Then the squares or rectangles are stripped together and a black and white theme with another color of her choice would be fun-like sky blue. I ahve made twin bed sets in western before and they were awesome. We used rope for the window treatments and lassos, etc. for decor.
We could also enlarge Paris pictures and frame them for the walls, etc.
Call me at ###-###-#### even if you just want ideas. I did sew for the public for 7 years but only take consignments now as I am a portrait artist and paint children or adults in my spare time.

how about painting the paris skyline on one wall (maybe behind the bed) in black, and using solid colors for bedding. then using posters on the other walls. Here is a website with some pics. http://www.hgtv.com/decorating/french-themed-girls-bedroo...

I have an Eiffel Tower lamp that came from Target. They have a bunch of accessories that will fit the decor including some really neat wall prints. I'm not really sure what "Paris" bedding would be, but I would check Target for that too. They have some great teen stuff.

What means Paris to your daughter? That might help you find the right design theme. Is it colors, words, places, paintings (like Monet), etc.? If the set doesn't exist, maybe you can create it together which could be really amazing. Have fun!

I don't think you need Eiffel Towers or poodles. You can use toile or damask. Get a chandelier that is very french.
