I am looking for information on becoming a Pampered Chef consultant for one of my friends. She is thinking about it but wanted to try and learn more. Is it expensive to get in and how do you make money? Are you able to buy products at a discount anytime or not? Also when you have a show do you make money then or wait for a check?

Is that the only business she is interested in? I have replaced my income several times over working at home but I'm not with that particular company. I would love to help.

I have been a PC Consultant for 14 years and I still love it! I would be happy to answer any questions you have so that you can make an informed decision.
We have two kits, one is $155 and contains over $500 in products and supplies, the other is $65 and contains over $200 in products and supplies. You can make money from the start of your new business. In the first 90 days you can even earn bonuses so that you can add products to your kit, buy supplies or whatever you choose. Consultants always buy products at a discount. We receive a check or direct deposit twice per month as payment for sales.
There are many perks to having your own business with The Pampered Chef. I am happy to help you get your own business started. You may email me at ____@____.com if you have other questions or concerns.

I desperately wanted to work from home so I could stay home with my kids. I looked into many such businesses (Pampered Chef, Discovery Toys, Avon) and I could not get too excited about any of them. I then discovered Monavie juice. It is an all natural juice blend of 19 fruits including the superfood acai berry. It is a great product for everyone of all ages. Because it is a healthy product from a strong company, I chose them and never regreted it. If you want more information, my website is www.mymonavie.com/farias. Good luck.

If she host a show, then she can get the start up kit at a discount. It's like $500 worth of stuff for like $100. It's a good deal. They have monthly meetings so you can see the new recipes and new products along with the specials. She can get a discount anytime, but there is a certain time when they allow consultants to get their stuff at a deep discount, because they want the products you take to the shows to look good. You collect the money at the shows, put the money in an account that set up for your business and then PC drafts it out. They in turn direct deposit or mail you a check at the end of the month. You can't just keep the money because your commission is figured by your monthly sales. They send you a special software for your computer to process your orders. I sold PC for several years and loved it. Tell her to use her binder and all of the resources. They will help her. Hope this helps.

I used to be a PC consultant a few years ago (while operating my other main business) and have some reservations about these "home party sales" type opportunities. I am not set against it but there is A LOT more to it than meets the eye and most folks do not consider these things when signing up. There are lots of things to consider that are not listed in any brochure.

My first question for your friend is to ask her what is the main reason she is looking at doing this.

I know quite a few ladies who have been PC consultants and they would always spend more than they made. Yes, there are a handful of ladies who make good money but most of the time, it is due to the "pyramid" business model.

You can always go to The Pampered Chef website (www.pamperedchef.com) to find out more.

If your friend has any questions, I would be glad to help offline.
