Hi L.!

I dont know if Memorial park is far away from you, but it has a pretty nice playground, also try www.meetup.com and look for Luna Mom Memorial is a group of moms and babies, and there are more groups! for sure you will find one that will fit your needs.

Another option is Discovery Green in downtown, it has a water playgound and a lots of fun, this coming Ago 9 (10:30 am), FREE Gymboree class at Discovery Green!check the link for directions http://www.discoverygreen.com/

You can also try your nearest public libary, some have storytime and is fun! http://www.hpl.lib.tx.us/branches/index.html

Good Luck and have Fun!

There is a really nice park inside of Jersey village not too far from you. when the weather cools off it, there will be lots of other parents and small children there. It is on the corner of Jersey Drive and Senate. Senate is off of 290, just past jones road.

I'm not sure where Seattle Slew is, but I'm also in 77065. Down near Lakewood Forest subdivision, there is a great park! Both sets of grandparents live down there, so we take our son quite a bit.

It's located on Cypresswood near Lakewood Forest Drive. If you're heading Northbound (towards 249/ away from 290) on Jones Rd, you'd turn left on Cypresswood. Just past the bridge, it's on the right just before the neighborhood begins.

There's always lots of kids there of all ages. There are different play areas for different ages.
