Pains Normal for 52 Year Old?

I recently asked advice about a pinched nerve in my neck. I saw an orthopedist and it turns out that it's a frozen shoulder. In the meanwhile I've also developed a pinched nerve in my leg (which the ortho doc confirmed.) When I said to the doctor "What is going on?! I might expect this in my 70's, but not my 50's!", he told me that since I am over 50 I should expect these things to happen and I might as well get used to it.

I just don't accept this! Ladies over 50, have you found this to be the case? Thanks,
P. B.

What can I do next?

I'm only 32 and have had herniated discs, back surgery and now arthritis in my back causing different types of pinched nerves. Nerve pain is the worst.

There are options to help you - your doctors should go over them with you.

I see you're in VT, if you were in MA I would have had a great pain care center for you to go check out.

Physical therapy can work wonders for pinched nerves as well.

Hi again P.,
I hate to say it, but your doctor just might be right. I've had the same type of problems starting at 50. Left knee, right knee, first one shoulder then the other etc.. You might have early Osteo arthritis which can effect all sorts of places that never bothered you before.
Ask your ortho about using the Lidoderm patch. I found them to be very helpful; you can use 3 patches in a 12 hour period and they won't make you feel goofy like a pain pill. They work within a few min. too.

P.,
You should not just have to "DEAL" with it! Why would anyone want to deal with pain? I am recommending a natural product that may help with all the pain. As we know, pain is a condition caused by inflammation in the body. Inflammation can be dealt with! My family and I use the product also. We see great results with this. If you would like to know more contact me and we will work on getting you better! Is it worth a shot? Let me know! Good luck and I hope you get better!
