I am looking to buy an outdoor water play table for our 4 year old. I fell in love with the Little Tikes Pirate Ship that you fill with water, but everyone seems to be sold out of that. Can anyone recommend anything else? I don't really want a sand/water set up since we already have a sandbox. I am just looking for a standing water play table with possibly an umbrella.

When my granddaughter played with one at a Shreveport for over 30 minutes. They came home and my husband built her one for under 20 dollars. It is painted and has tubs, sand, etc. She loves it.

As cute as the little tikes ones are, mine drove me crazy!

My son loves a simple, long and low rubbermaid container I got at Walmart. It is like 30" long, by 18" wide by 10" deep. He loves it. $10!

If you really want a good one though, look for one built preschool strong. I like this company: http://www.discountschoolsupply.com/NewDSS/Product/Produc...

I also recommend the fun flow play sink from step 2. My daughter loves hers I bought it for her third birthday (she is almost 4) and she still plays with it.
