I am an au pair coordinator. Every month I have to get the au pairs together for a meeting...usually just a fun and social gathering. Another coordinator did a Mary Kay party in which a Mary Kay rep. came to her home and did facials for all the girls (there were 10). My first thought was that the poor rep. wasted her time because they probably didn't buy anything. Turns out all but one did and they all had a blast. Since it was such a success, I thought this would be a great meeting for my group and the neighboring group. Unfortunately, the person who already did this lives pretty far away so we can't use the same Mary Kay rep. Here's my question: I'd like to do a similar meeting, BUT there would be more like 30-35 girls. I was thinking maybe they could give each other manicures instead of the rep doing all the work as with facials. If someone out there is interested in taking on such a task or knows someone who might be, please let me know. It needs to be held some time in August and I live in Plainfield.

Instead of a manicure we could do color application i.e. eye shadow, blush, etc. Just about everyone LOVES to play with makeup. We could have each person select a "Look" from my website prior to our meeting. OR we could do a self-pedicure. Everyone would bring their own bucket/tub, towel and favorite nail polish. Their little "piggies" will feel great when we're done! A pedicure party could even be done outside on the patio if you'd like.
