Is there a place where you can watch full episodes of tv shows for free? I thought Hulu was one of them so I signed up only to find out they are not so much. Lame!

So anyone know of any good places for free??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I went on Hulu to watch an episode but it only gave me a preview for it! Erg! I tried clicking the "Full episode" and it said I needed to have a Hulu Plus account for that :/

I also went to the ABC website and all but they too will only give me a preview. I want to watch it online but it wants me to download stuff and I dont want to!! Lol.

This is so frustrating! :p

ETA: Thanks Leigh I didnt know that. I was on Hulu trying to watch a past episode and it would only give me the 90 sec preview. They have the latest episodes but I still havent seen episode one of this new season and was hoping to watch it. No such luck.

Pirate-Free, or Legitimate-Free?

Legit Free

Hulu does the most recent 5 episodes for free. For the previous episodes (and previous seasons) Hulu+ is needed (know: there are still commercials, it's not like netflix streaming). Since they have a free trial period for Hulu+, you could do that and then either pay the $6 a month or cancel it and pay nada.

Station websites: Most only do the 3-5 most recent episodes, some have whole seasons. Really depends on the station.

Aside from those... it's pirating only for free shows as far as I know. Places like Vuze & Torrent sites

sidereel.com. You have to click through a few things, and "search links" once you see the episode you like. Then a long list of links will pop up and you can pick one. It's cumbersome, but it works! Mike and Molly never has the full episode on the station website, so this is how I see it. I could just figure out when it's on TV and watch it the old fashioned way, but once I had a DVR I found out I was too spoiled to plan my day around TV shows! Now that we've given up pay TV, apparently, I'm still too spoiled and only watch shows I can see online for free.

With Hulu, you have a limited time in which to see an episode free. So, for instance, if you miss your show this week, you need to see it within a certain number of days on Hulu or after that time you'd have to be part of Hulu Plus. Read the terms of use on regular Hulu to see how long you have to see things for free. Some specific shows may be on Hulu Plus only. I watch free shows on Hulu all the time now but always within a week or so. I don't know if they have a huge range of shows; I mostly watch a few NBC comedies on there and I know they have a lot of sitcoms and shows from NBC and ABC.

great question, I hope some one knows. Have you tried the network website, like NBC or whatever??

I have pretty good luck watching full free episodes on the station websites. Sometimes you have to wait a couple of weeks before it will play a full episode. Some stations play them very quickly. You often have to go through a few clicks to get to the full episode (I often search) and if it isn't there and only the preview, wait a week or two and it will be there.

I'm waiting to view Harry's Law that got cut off at the beginning because of a silly basketball game that went too long just to talk to the players. I hate that. They should have to pay for the extra station time and ads that are running during the other show's time.

I don't really need to see a bunch of jocks that have no public speaking skills, what-so-ever, talk about how great it felt to win and go for the hoop. It seems to be the same story after each game, regardless of sport.

many of the stations' websites themselves offer full episodes.

I agree most with Leigh. You can "sign up" for Hulu and it will add shows from your 'favorites' in your 'queue' so you don't miss them. You can customize your queue so that 'all episodes' or 'new episodes only' become available for free. I don't have HuluPlus. But I signed up. So some shows take a week to become free (making those of us who don't pay - we wait an extra week). Well just the other day they became available and popped into my queue! It says next to each episode when it will expire. Some shows have random episodes that change from regular to Plus to regular to Plus (Modern Family does this). Other shows, like Grey's Anatomy, make the latest 5 episodes free, the rest are and always will be on Plus only.

So if you only want to watch one episode, I suggest you ask a friend or fam member if you can log on to their account for a day or two. If I had Plus, I'd share it with someone!

I know you can watch CBS shows on their site and they are free and full episodes and in full screen they look very good. I think some of the other stations sites do that too.

You don't have to sign up to watch free episodes on Hulu. There is Hulu Plus that you have to pay for and get to see more episodes, and some episodes sooner (usually just a week sooner), but there is plenty to watch on Hulu that you don't have to pay for.
