Hi Ladies....I am looking for a website that I can use to build a scrapbook for my kids. The thing is, I want to make a few pages at a time and I don't want them put into a book for me. I want to put them in a book myself so I can rearrange and add to it as the kids get older. I have found many websites that I can order a book from but has anyone found a site that will allow you to just order individual pages? I would love any feedback you can provide. My kids are 7 and 9 and I have not even started their scrapbooks yet. So I am really behind as it is and I just want to get started. Also, I am not very creative so I want something that already has templates and I just have to insert the pictures. Thanks in advance for your help. I always get great advice from everyone on here.

So What Happened?

Thank you all for the great ideas. I have found a software program that I am trying out and I also found a website that I can order 12x12 prints for a very reasonable price (http://www.sbtoshare.com/Digital.htm) I am going to work on this project diligently for awhle and hopefully I will make some progress. I hate that I waited so long to start but better now than later. Thanks again.

I second the vote for Close to my Heart's new Studio J Design Studio. It will be available for customers in the Spring but there is some information on the website www.StudioJ.com
It is an online based program so there is nothing to download or buy, which is a huge perk in my opinion! It is super simple to use and wonderful quality. The first time I sat down to play with the program I made a 2-page layout in less than 5 minutes...and I hate computers and "digital scrapbooking"! There are just a few simple steps...choose your pictures, your paper pack, the template and then it puts it all together and you can adjust anything you want and add titles and journaling as you want.

Good luck in finding what works for you to preserve your precious memories!

I have seen photo album/scrapbooks at Michael's and Sam's Club that are already made, you just add your photo's. They seem pretty easy to do and you don't have to be creative.

I would check with a really good scrapbook store. I know they have printers for 12 X 12 copies. I would think they would also have some way of printing from a disc the same size copies. Good luck. You will have a treasure however you create the scrapbook.

I love the company "Scrapping Simply" for ordering individual pages I have made... if you google free digital scrapbooking you can find all kinds of sites that have freebies and free templates etc... but a lot of them are geared towards people who have Photoshop Elements etc... I do a lot of scrapping and also photobooks and I don't know of a company who has a free software for making individual pages. Creative Memories has their new photobook software and I think you can use it to make books but also to make individual pages that you can order through them. I'm not sure what the cost is on that but you could check out their website.

I'm sorry I don't have any great answer. I'm pretty intimidated by computers! I have seen graduation pictures done by Shutterfly - individual pictures and a book. I'll be interested in hearing other's suggestions as I might get brave enough to try something myself!

I am not sure about individual pages either but go to creativememories.com or stampinup.com, I know they have digital scrapbook pages you can just add pictures or you can customize it to your liking.

Creative Memories has a software you can buy so you can scrapbook digitally on your computer. One benefit to having it be your own software is that it's on your desktop - not online. You can work at your own pace and come back anytime. You can use these to make traditional books but another option is to use the Creative Memories Photo Center and make what's called Page Prints. These are individual scrapbook pages that you make digitally on your computer with the software (called StoryBook Plus software). These are 12x12 pages they print and send you on high quality photo paper so you can do as many or as few as you want at a time. They have pre-done templates in the software so you are just dragging and dropping your photos onto beautifully done pages and then they print and mail it to you. :) Then buy the Creative Memories Max album. This has the 12x12 pockets to slide in these individual pages. I think this would be a great option for you. It may be a bit of an investment but CM has the best quality around in my opinion and options that others don't have. The StoryBook Plus software is AMAZING! You can use it to do so many things. I even use mine to make invites printed on 4x6 sent to walmart to print. They are so pretty! Go to creativememories.com and look up a Consultant in your area. Hope this helps! :)

i don't know of one that prints individual pages, but have done one for stages of my kids which you may find helpful-

I did a birth-preschool book, and elementary school book. they can vary in number of pages so it doesn't have to be so daunting, I left a couple pages blank to add tickets, programs, etc from favorite events. this made it a less daunting task for me....most of the main sites let you save projects and work on them when you want.

one of the main advantages to doing the electronic books is their size and durability-- especially since I want them to be able to look at their book anytime they want...scrapbooks are a fun keepsake for later, but they can also have a lot of value for an elementary school child to see how much he/she has grown since preschool and help get them through the rough patches of growing up. another thing I like about them is being able to order one for myself and one for my kids. I have 3 children so many of the pages are the same- but I customized each child's book a little with select birthday pages, etc. Good luck!

The new Close to my Heart digital site is great, you can order any amount of layouts (although they only come in 12x12 two-page layouts) and they are specially printed and mailed to your home. It's really easy to use, just upload photos and drag into the premade template you choose with the design you choose. Areas for journaling too.

I'd be happy to give you some guidance, this is my area of specialty!

I have some info about it on my website. Take a look.
