Onesies for Toddlers??

My daughter is 2 yrs old and we really like putting her in a short sleeved onesie for bed. She has stated to us that she feels more comfortable and able to move better, but the problem is they stop making onesies at 24 month sizes. The ones I've found online are SO expensive! Anybody have any ideas where I could find onesies 2T size without breaking the bank??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!! I was at Carter's & Target today and she is extremely tall so the 24 months ones don't fit her anymore (she's this tall lanky kid lol). I'm going to try Children's Place and Walmart. Thanks again everyone!!

I was going to say the onsie extenders as well from One Step Ahead. I have a friend who used them and said they were well worth it.

You can purchase onesies extenders which help if she's thin enough to still fit but too tall. You can get them through www.onestepahead.com.

Children's Place does carry up to at least 3T and they aren't too expensive if you use a coupon or catch them on clearance (the end of each season you can get them for $3 a piece).

I 2nd Carter's their 24 month size is really on the larger side. I have my 32 lbs 34 inch 23 month old in them and he still has room to grow. Also I have come across 3t gerbers at Target or Walmart sorry I can't remember which one. I'd say they are slightly longer than the Carter's, but not by too much. My 3.5 yr old and my 2 yr old both wear them to bed and they fit very comfortably.

Good Luck

Oh ya if you have an outlet store you can find those Carter set of 6/8 that normally run around $20 closer to $12--I went at the beginning of this summer and actually only paid $6! Otherwise they are slightly more expensive than Gerbers

have you looked at the Children's place? seemed to me they had ones in all the sizes they carried. not sure how expensive they are, i don't usually buy there because i think their clothes are a little pricey in general, BUT i remember seeing the onsies...and i passed them by b/c my son doesn't wear them anymore, so i didn't check the price. good luck! (also, amazon.com is a good place to shop, with lots of alternatives instead of just one store)

I've never used them, but they make onsie extenders if the only problem is length. It's an extra piece that snaps in the crotch so that you get more length. I did a quick search and found a 10 pack for like $12, so it might be cheaper to do that and use the ones you already have.

Could you use the extenders? One Step (?) catalog has them. I know school doesn't like them...interferes with potty training. I liked the look of staying tucked in, but mine were too small to need extenders :)

I'm pretty sure Osh/gosh b'gosh has them. Check them out.

If you can sew... this didn't look too difficult, in fact, I might try it for my own daughter. Use up some of the old t-shirts I've collected:
