ok so heres my question. i know there are tons of things people say you can do to help induce labor, what are some of the things youve been told, what helped you? ive heard walking(if your not use to it) and hot showers and some kind of oil. also heard fenugreek could help... just curious, thanks!

*** http://www.homeremediesweb.com/fenugreek_health_benefits.php one page were theres a warning that fenugreek can cause premature labor (im researching to help with milk supply)

What can I do next?

I went into labor the morning after walking a ton! It was black friday and my hubby and I were bored and went to the mall and other stores and just walked all day long. I woke up the next morning to my water breaking. I'm convinced it was the walking that did it for me!

Sex and nipple stimulation can bring on labor as the prosteglandins in semen can cause contractions (and that's why I couldn't have sex the last 2 months of my last pregnancy :(

But you DO NOT want to take castor oil! The last thing you'd want while you are 9 months pregnant is to have cramps and diarrhea. Trust me. I had to use castor oil to get "clean out" for some medical testing I was having done and it was less than pleasant.

Pepermint lotion and massage!!!
So relaxing!
My sister in law had been in the hospital for days b/c of high blood pressure, so I bought some lotion in the gift shop (because I wasn't going to sleep another day in the waiting room), and rubbed her ankles and feet. She ended up going in to labor while I was rubbing her feet!

i've heard "the naughty" can help induce labor, another i heard, that is not pertaining to labor, but beign pg, and totally inaccurate...if you lift your hands above your head, you'll tie the baby's umbelical cord around next....my daughter came out just fine and i did that all the time lol

I was told to drink a glass of wine, eat some pineapple, ride over railroad tracks (bumpy ride?), clean house or other really involved activity. I do not like wine but drank a bit anyway, love pineapple and ate it all the time, scrubbed my couch, took lots of walks. She was still a week late.

I've heard walking can help.
Intercourse has been proven to help.
I haven't heard that hot showers help, but my ob did recommend one once I started contractions to help me relax.

Just another tip to share.... drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated

I mowed my lawn, shampooed my carpet and went on a 4 mile walk all in one day. One of those worked, cuz I went in to labor that night.

I've heard this one, know a friend who used it. She was in labor, to the hospital and had to baby in less than 2hrs. But I can't say that I suggest it only because I don't know much about it. Drink castorol oil.
