Hey ladies! My family and I recently moved from Orange County out to Murrieta CA. I'm desperately in search of a new OBGYN in the Murrieta/Temecula area. I went to a very well known and respected OB in Orange County so I would like to get some opinions of some Dr's out here. I don't want to burn a hole in the pocket book by going to Dr's I don't like. So I figured I would start here and get some great referrals! So, If you LOVE you OBGYN, TELL ME about him or her! ! Thanks gals!

God Bless,
C.

Whatever you do, do not go to Michael Andersen. He's rude, gives you no time and he is lazy. He would not answer my questions. He just said that I needed to listen to him because he was the dr. I was so angry. I was pregnant and had questions. Also, as soon as I started to got to my 8th month of pregnancy, he referred me to another dr and claimed I was high-risk)I had no problems so far and was only 30). He actually transferred me because I questioned him and was not happy with his rude answers. Another girl at my work went to him once and told me she hated him. She had her baby 3 months after me.

I highly recommend Dr. Michael Andersen of Cornerstone Womens Practice in Murrieta (across from Rancho Springs hospital). He takes a lot of time with your visits and has a very caring demeanor.

I really liked Dr. Tammy Hayton at Temecula Valley OBGYN. Her offices are near Rancho Springs. She delivered my fourth child and was very professional as well as nice. :0)

I have mixed reviews about the different Dr.s at Temecula Valley OBGYN, I think it really depends on your personality and how you mesh with different people... BUT I really don't care for Dr.Elfelt - he was very gruff and rough (didn't even wait for the numbing agent to kick in before he stitched me up! ow) and he was also rude to the nurses directly in front of me (on two different occasions), which I find very unprofessional and totally uncalled for since they were the ones who delivered my baby when she was in distress and he was still driving to the hospital! Dr.Lebo was ok, but kind of unpersonal and didn't give me ANY info I didn't ask for (didn't even tell me what the baby's heart rate was, or what I was measuring until I asked). Dr.Glaser was very professional and very nice, he was also very patient with my three year old and made it a point to ask him questions at each visit. I also had had an appointment at Dr. Byrn's office (not part of Temecula Vally OB) but never even saw the Dr. My first visit there the nurses told me they had called my house and left me a message saying they had cancelled the appt (I never got that message and I'm the only one who checks the message machine at home), and the next time I showed up after sitting for 30min someone commented that the Dr was not even in the office, he was at a birth, and there is no back up Dr. There were four of us sitting there waiting and one of the ladies said, "Oh, it's ok, I've never had to wait more than three or four hours for him." WHAT??? 3-4 HOURS??? I'm paying a babysitter to watch my kid... I'm NOT sitting in a lobby for four hours! So I left. So, unfortunately I don't have any rave reviews for you on anyone, but that's my experience here in the valley :):) Good luck finding the right Dr~!

I like Dr. Bielman from Rancho Obstetrics. She delivered my first baby, and she's going to delivery my second one next month. However, Dr. Bielman is due in June, so she won't be available for a while, and I'm pretty sure she's all booked up for May. I'd try Dr. Silinger, from the same office. She seems to be very nice. Their phone number is: ###-###-####. Good luck!

i really like mylinda beilman at rancho obgyn. she's in murrieta off MHS and Medical Ctr - directly across the street from the hospital. the only drawback is that one of her drs in the practice has a terrible bedside manner and of course he's the one that ended up delivering my daughter. but in the end that was 15 minutes of a 40 week process. his name is dr. kaplan and some people do like him...not me! the other dr in her practice (selinger) was very nice and her nursing staff is good!

I LOVE Dr. Glaser at Temecula Valley OBGYN. He's really nice and makes you feel comfortable and doesn't rush you during your appointments. However, if you don't go into labor during office hours you'll get whoever is on call from the office. For that reason, they make you see every doctor before you're due. I probably liked Dr. Lebo the least out of the docs I saw in that office, and of course she ended up delivering my baby. But she was great and very supportive so I must have caught her on an off day. But this office is very popular and you have to wait. That can be rather frustrating, but Dr. Glaser is worth it. Book early!
