OBGYN Or Midwife in Bellevue?

Six months postpartum and just after a move, not pregnant as far as I know, I am looking for someone I can consult for Well-Woman visits and feminine issues. I would like either a doctor that is okay with home birth/natural birth philosophies or a midwife who is capable of dealing with feminine issues related not just to pregnancy and birth. Suggestions?

What can I do next?

I highly recommend the Puget Sound Birth Center. Some of Seattle's best midwives practice there.

With my last baby I had Tracey Cooper and Michelle Sarju as my midwives. I drove from Lynnwood to downtown Seattle to see them! At the time Sunita Iyer was a student working with them, and she took the lead in my delivery as she had just graduated from her programs. She is a wonderful lady, and she is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to naturopathic and first-do-no-harm medicine. She has her own practice now, and I'd put complete trust in her abilities.

Blessings!

The Center for Women's Health @ evergreen hospital is fantastic. I went through the midwives group through them (they have both midwives and OB's who work together), and have stayed on as a non-OB patient, including dealing with a lot of minor surgeries.

Eastside Birth Center.

The others suggested may all be great, but they are in Kirkland. EBC is in Bellevue.

I recommend Sunita Iyer, ND LM in Kirkland at Puget Sound Birth Center! She's both a Naturopath and a Midwife, so can handle all of your healthcare needs. Everyone else I know is in North Seattle. Let me know if you have more questions about this! I do billing for several midwives in the greater Seattle area. Welcome to Washington!
