I don't have an OB or any idea on what Hospital to deliver at...I would like to get some referrals..Please! I have no preference regarding an OB...just a good one!! In plano, allen or frisco. I would also like info on hospitals in the surrounding areas. I appreciate the information!!

I delivered both my kids at Presby Plano and loved it, I live in McKinney and it was worth the drive. Great pediatric/NICU facility. I go to Plano Healthcare for Women and see Dr. Webster. Her partner, Dr. Jaffee, delivered one of my kids b/c Webster was on vacay when he came early. They are both sweet and friendly. Congrats and good luck.

Love Dr. Gary Duncan in Plano. When I first moved here, I called the nurse coordinator at one of the area hospitals and asked where all the nurses go. I figured they were the best canidates for advice. They led me to his practice. He's affiliated with both Plano Medical Center (15th St.) and Plano Presby. I, personally, highly recommend Plano Presby over anywhere else. (And I have been a patient over the last 10 years in 4 different area hospitals)
Best wishes in your pregnancy.

My OBGYN is great. His name is Dr. Bruce Rajala and he is at Allen Presbyterian Hospital. It is located right off 75 and easy to get to. His information is:

Women's Medical Associates
1105 Central Expressway N. #310
Allen, Texas 75013
###-###-####

I don't know if he is taking on new patients but if he is, you might want to check him out.

I love Dr. Diaz and Medical Center of Plano. She is with Plano Women's Healthcare. It is an all female practice (which was ideal for me). The nurses are great. Her practice is next to the hosptial so she would round on lunch or after her office hours. I just can't say enough nice things about her.

Good Luck to you with whomever you choose.

I had six years of fertility problems, including removal of six huge fibroid tumors, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Camille Clark at Medical City Dallas. I live in Plano, but Med City was worth the drive to have Dr. Clark. I had to spend a lot of time in the hospital due to complications with my second set of twins, and the hospital was really good. I only had some complaints about the level of care when my boys were in the NICU at Med City for 2.5 weeks - other than that problem, all was great. That's my two cents.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I recommend Dr. Elise Harper who practices at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco. My son was born last December and my entire experience with Dr. Harper and Centennial was very positive. It was my first pregnancy so I had a lot of questions, and Harper was very informative. I would definitely go back to see her again. The entire hospital experience was great as well. I was a month early and very uneasy when I went in, but the nurses there were very comforting and caring. I didn't have one problem throughout my whole stay. Being a first time mom, I had no clue what to do with my new little boy, but the nurses there were very patient and helped me through every concern and question.
Elise Harper's phone number is ###-###-#### if you are interested.

Really, it all depends on the kind of birth experience you want. (Can you tell I'm a doula! :O))

If you can give a bit more info on what you are looking for, I have some really great referrals. But on a quick note, IMO, as a homebirthing mamma that wouldnt leave home in labor, I would birth a baby at Baylor Downtown any day.

ALso if you are interested in some midwives and or birthing centers there are some truly amazing women in your area!

I delivered at Plano Medical Center. I enjoyed my stay at that hospital. They take really really good care of you. My doctor was Janelle Watts and she works out of Plano Medical and Plano Presby. She is absolutely amazing. She has an outgoing personality, and she will make you feel so comfortable. Her staff totally rocks, and they are so sweet and caring. Congrats on baby #4....Good Luck!

I delivered my 2 at Plano Presby, but I have heard WONDERFUL things about Baylor in Frisco. Apparently it is partially owned by the DR's so they are really focused on keeping you happy. I know 2 people who have siblings that work there and they say great things about it. It is brand new, has big TV's in all the rooms, and they said they had a place for your spouse to sleep, and would bring in meals for both of you (and the meals are very gourmet) hope thais helps.

Medical City is a great hospital. I know because I have worked there for 10 years. I work in the NICU and PICU and the staff is great. Med City is great especially if your baby needs ICU after you deliver. They are a level 3 NICU and you do not have to be transported across the metroplex in an emergencty. As far as physicians I can not say enough about Dr. Ramana Jones and Dr. Parnell. Their office number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps.

Dr. Bruce Rajala has been my Ob/Gyn for over 15 years. He and his staff are wonderful people and I feel that you would have a great experience. He was my Ob when I delivered my daughter. His office is at Presby Allen and I have absolutely no complaints about the hospital either. They made my birthing experience wonderful. They are located on 75 and Exchange in Allen.

I have also heard several good things about delivering at Presby Plano (Tollway and Parker). I think any Presby location you will not be disappointed with. Presby Plano has a higher-level NICU which would be a benefit if there is a serious issue or you are having multiples.

I delivered all three of my kiddos at Presby of Plano and it was wonderful every time. The nurses are great and they just added a new remodeled side for the Post-Partum rooms, which I was at for my last baby, it looked like a hotel room. I would highly recommend that hospital. Oh, and the food is truly Five-Star quality everything was so delicious. My OB has her office at Presby of Plano. Her name is Dr. Tania White-Jackson ###-###-####. I absolutely love her!!!!
