OB-GYN Is Olathe Area

I was wondering if anyone had an Ob that they really liked and would recommend. The Ob I was seeing during my pregnancy was nice enough, but I felt very rushed whenever I was in (this was my first pregnancy thanks to fertility treatments and we lost one of the babies at 16 weeks, so naturally, I had questions and concerns), and ended up having several issues with things not being noted in my chart (such as losing the other baby, I was asked "How are the twins?" on my next two visits). Overall, I felt my OB was nice enough but am looking for someone I feel more comfortable with. I don't have a preference either way towards a male or female doc, and I live in the Olathe area. Thanks!

For two of my three kids I used Dr. Bruce Snider in Olathe Medical Center. I liked him very much. There is also a lady in with him. Her name is Dr. Estrada. I have not used her personally but have heard great things about her. Hope you find one you like. Its important!

My OB is not in Olathe, but pretty close. It's a male and I have seen him for 9 yrs (ever since I moved here). I love him and wouldn't want to see anyone else..unles he was out or stopped practicing. I also like the majority of the others in that practice. They are all really nice. My Dr. as well asl the others take their time. He may have other patients, but he makes sure you get all your questions answered and takes the time to hear your concerns. My Dr. is also big on women taking charge of their health care so he recommends things (especially if he absolutely felt it was in your best interest) but he makes sure to get your opinion and how you feel treatment should be.

His name is Dr. Errick Arroyo and he practices at the Kansas City Women's Clinic in Overland Park. It's located on the campus of Overland Park Regional Medical Center (the building next to the hospital. On corner of 435 and Quivira

My OB is right outside Olathe in Overland Park. She is located in the Doctor's Building right next to Overland Park Regional. Her name is Kathleen Stone and I have seen her for 22 years. She has treated me for a pituitary tumor, PCOS and the complications of infertility that accompany both. I am proud to say that thanks to her we now have an 11 month old daughter. I am not sure who was more proud--her or us. She takes all of the time that you need and I NEVER feel rushed. If she is not in the office I am always able to see a mid-wife. They are all great as well and I think that I have seen them all (difficult pregnancy). Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, S.. I am sure you will get a ton of replies to this, but I will put in my two cents. My OB is out of Olathe Medical Center- Suite 200 in the Doctor's Bldg 1. His name is Douglas MacFarlane. He delivered my son eight years ago, but not my daughter, since we lived in St. Louis. We seriously considered coming back to KC for my C-section delivery. He was incredible. I just saw him last week for my annual visit. The office is usually quick to get you in and the actual visit is super fast. He always asks if you have any questions and really takes the time to answer them. He has an article in the Kansas City Star on Womens wellness, but I dont know when it runs. I would recommend him 100 % to anyone needing an OB. Good Luck!

I saw a couple people talk about Tami Michele and, although I don't see her, several of my friends do and they LOVE her! I actually see Kelly Fritz who is in the same building- Arbor Creek. She is a certified nurse midwife and she did all my prenatal stuff. She is incredibly compassionate and not only answers every one of my questions, but either gets me to expand my questions or talks to me about things I hadn't thought of. Many of my appointments lasted close to 2 hours...not in the waiting room, but with a compassiona-te, knowledgeable person! Most of the time I was the one ending our appointments or we just simply ran out of stuff to talk about!! I truly cannot say enough good things about Kelly. Her and Dr. Michele work together a lot. As far as I know, they are the only two people in that building. In case you don't have the number it is ###-###-####. I hope this helps!
