Hello Mamas...my little guy is 2 1/2 and I'm tired of the nursery theme in his room and getting the itch to change it into a toddler room..Since we will be moving within a year I don't want to put alot of money into it. I'm going to put the removable decals on the walls (trucks, planes, trains, etc)but don't know where the best place is to get them. Would it be Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joann Fabrics or does anyone know of a good place online? I would want good size ones, the ones I have come across have been really small. Thanks :)

What can I do next?

I painted my son's entire room blue- ceiling too. Then I went on ebay and bought wallies. - Clouds and planes! If you do an ebay search on plane wallies or cloud wallies you can find them. They are so easy- you dip them in water and just place them on the wall. Then, when you want them to come off the wall- you just apply a sponge and they peel off. If we have another child- I am going to do fairies for a girl and dinosaurs for a boy! They were about 10$ for a pack of 25.

Hi C.,

I, too, recently posted a request looking for decals. (Not specifically the large ones, though.)

Anyway, I saw some mural size ones at Lowes yesterday. There were a lot on display but not many on the shelves, however. (I had never seen the peel off kind made so big until I was in Lowes. I am going to inquire about it next time I am there. (I didn't have a lot of time, yesterday.) Lowes is good about ordering more merchandise for customers.

Lowe's has a big selection of room decals. We saw some at Home Dept too when we decorated our toddler's room.

I've gotten our wall "stickers" at Target, Babies R Us, & Toys R Us. They don't have a huge selection, but they are a decent size. Little Tikes has a cute Transportation set that we found at Babies R Us. Target also has a transportaion set (it's in the kids bedding dept.), not where the rest of the wall "stickers" are located. I have not looked on-line, but I would guess on E-Bay you would probably also be able to find some.

The stickers we used came off the sticker sheet and went directly on the wall...no water or anything. To get them off you just peel them off and they do not damage painted walls. We used a set at our old house, peeled them off and reused them at our new house...they worked great and didn't leave any marks. We've used the transportation sets I mentioned above, as well as Thomas The Tank and Cars...all have been great!
