Nursery Rhyme Parade

I have a little boy and I am racking my brain trying to come up with something for his nursery rhyme parade. When my daughter was that age I had a creative friend that gave me the idea. I'm not creative that way unfortunately. I usually buy costumes for Halloween. . . don't want to do that for this.

Anyone want to give me some good boy ideas? :)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all your replies! My son came home and insisted he wanted to be Humpty Dumpty. . .so I ended up getting a big t-shirt and painting a face on it and I'm going to stuff it with pillow stuffing. Hopefully it looks OK. :-)

Hi C., just a couple of ideas. Little Boy Blue, Little Jack Horner, Jack from Jack & Jill, any of which just jeans & plaid shirt would work with a hat, bugle, pie with purple balls for plums or a pail. He could go as a Ole King Cole. Good luck & have fun.

Little Boy Blue (go blow your horn) ; Blue jean overalls, bandana in his back pocket, cowboy hat, boots, "paint" freckles on his face with a brown eye-liner pencil, Roll up his pants and no shoes for the parade, he can carry a little toy trumpet/horn
