Anyone out there have favorite 360 games that aren't related to war/killing/violence? For boy 10yrs, girl 12 yrs, boy 17 yrs.

If you know of websites that talk about this, I'd appreciate knowing about those, too.
Thanks!

Good Morning A.,

My child has a lot of sports games that he really enjoys also
he has a game called rootbeer taper you should look in to that one. What I would do if you have a little extra money is purchase a wii my kids love that and it gets them moving. My children play that wii fit which has them exercising and they dont even know it. Also there are great games like bowling, baseball, golf, there are so many choices and they have no war/killing/voilence. My Kids enjoy the wii way more then any other game console they have other had there freinds ask to play it everytime they come over also. It really is great

I like my Atari games that play on the XBox. They're easy, nostalgic, and non-violent. Tetris and other puzzle-type games are non-violent, too.

Well Im not trying to promote anything (ok maybe a lil) but my husband works for a game company and they are getting ready to release at the beginning of the year a new game on xbox live arcade called "The Maw". You can download it for a one time fee of $10. Its a strategy game and i think all ages will enjoy it. Check out the preview at http://www.mawgame.com/ . Thanks for your support!

I feel your pain! My oldest is 8, and is begging for one of those game systems. So far, he has a PS2 for guitar hero and some E related games on it.

There are some good websites out there, like Focusonthefamily.com (or it may be .org) and commonsense.com (again, may be .org)

I don't know about the XBox games but there is a place on IVillage.com where parents have rated websites and movies, I think there is a page about games on there too. I hope this helps, I know how hard it is to find games you approve of the kids playing. Here is one website I found where there are some ratings and descriptions of the games http://www.moralmetric.com/reviews/video-games

I hope this helps.

My 18 y/o son suggests games with sports' or driving themes to them. He especially likes skateboarding themes.
He also suggests Madden '08 or '09, with football as a theme.
