I am looking for something to play soft music for my daughter as she goes to sleep. I need one that would turn off on its own after 10 or 20 minutes. Are there any out there made specifically for kids with kids lullabies?

What can I do next?

I have a RCA radio/CD player clock for my daughter. What I love about it is that I can set it to play repeatedly. It does have a sleep mode where you can set the radio/CD player to turn off after a specific time that you set. You can set it as low as 1 minute to as high as 2 hours. When you use the sleep mode for the CD player, the CD will automatically play over and over until the sleep time has been reached. I believe this is what you need.

I believe I bought it at Target. It is by RCA and the model is RP3765.

Lullaby CDs can be found anywhere, but better choices at Babies R Us.

We used a Baby Einstein CD since Alexander was six months old. We still use it when he wants music. There are no words on this CD. I am not sure on the exact title though. It's between 20-30 minutes long. I'm sure they're all similar.

Yep...again I would check the library. Someone also got me some classical Cds with lullabies, it's about 15 minutes long, from the dollar tree of all places!

there are tons! My girls said classical music was too wierd for them (my oldest swore it gave her nightmares), so we used "Veggie Tales Junior's Bedtime songs" which I loved because it promoted our christian values, and theres a quiet interaction with Junior and mom where mom tells him he can sing if he stays in bed... so he sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I Love You a Bushel and a Peck... then they get a little quieter... and mom reminds him its time to go to sleep... and then she sings a beautiful song... and then my kids were asleep... but there were a few more songs after that... It was great!

We wore out 2 cd's!

the crib mp3 player does that. The sound quality is not very good, though. You could always just have playlists on an ipod that are only 10-20 minutes long. I have an alarm clock mp3 player in my daughter's room and have set up playlists on my ipod for that purpose.
