NightTime Diaper Leaking

---I just found an old post about this same thing...I will go and read those responses. Thanks for looking though :)

For the past week or so my little one has been waking up soaking wet! I bought bigger diapers yesterday but he still woke up wet this morning. What can I do so he stops soaking everything? We have been using Pampers, should I try a different brand? He does have a sippy of milk before bed, I am trying to cut that down but he always seems very thirsty.
Thank You!

So What Happened?

After reading the other post I am going to go and get some Huggies GoodNights Diapers...hopefully that will do the trick! I might start changing him before I go to bed if that does not seem to work

I hate Pampers!! We use the generic store brand (I've tried Huggies, Pampers, Luvs) and always go back to the generics. They are the cheapest and work the best for my son.

My son started leaking through his diapers at night every once in a while when he was around 13 months old. We started using Huggies night time diapers and he hasn't leaked since. Definitely recommend them (along with everyone else who responded, it seems...). Maybe also try giving the sippy cup a little earlier, like an hour before bed, so some of the liquid has time to pass through before you put that last diaper on?

Hi N.
When my son was wearing pampers, i came to find out that they suck! You have to go with the huggies. Never had any problems. Also fold the front of the diaper under on the tummy, it creats a wall so the pee can't leak out.

Only huggies.
- a cheaper brand that works to is Parents choice.
good luck:)

I too recommend Huggies Overnight Diapers. We use cloth during the day and then those at night, never once had a leak problem and my daughter drinks so much water before she goes to bed!

Huggies Night time diapers are the best. My kids leak thru any other brand except these.

You may also want to try a different type of cup. My son was the same way. I came to find out that the cup would leak in the night. Try the Platex sippy cups, they don't leak. Also if he is big enough they make a night time pull up that is awesome. They don't leak and if they fill them it does not leave a bunch of diaper filling on them.

Yes the Pampers are more expensive but they leak at night, the huggies overnights work well, but also Luvs work pretty good and are cheaper.

I have a 11 month old daughter and was having the same problem. We were using pampers also. But we found Huggies Overnighters. They are wonderful. Her bed and her haven't been wet since we started using them.

Try Drybottoms - they have the little yellow chick on them. They are the cheapest things at Wal-Mart but a girlfriend recommended them to me b/c she was have leaks with her son. I tried them with my daughter and no more leaks - EVER! They were awesome! Good luck!
