New to the Georgetown area.....any Women of Faith Lovers Out There?????

Hi M.. My family just moved down here last August. We live in Cedar Park and attend Great Hills Baptist Church in the northwest Austin area. The fellowship that I have experienced at this church since we moved has been incredible. I have been truly blessed by some wonderful women in this church. I'm not sure what the drive is from Georgetown to Great Hills, but it might be worth trying it out. Also, I am a Women of Faith lover as well. I have almost all their devotion books. I know Dallas has their Women of Faith conferences in August and since we moved in August, I'm not sure if the church had a group go or not. But you can rest assure that I plan to find out this year. I hate to miss their conferences. Well, I hope this helps and I hope you find the right church for you and your family. Did you know the national Women of Faith conference is in San Antonio every year? I went for the first time this year with my mom and my oldest daughter ~ it was great! I don't know of a group that goes to Women of Faith from our church, but we do LOVE our church in Georgetown called Terranova. It meets at City Lights movie theater on Sunday mornings ~ worship is at 10 am but there is also "kids church" that the whole family attends together at 9 am that is awesome! My 5 kids ask all week, "How many days 'til we go to Terranova?" I encourage you to give it a try! Oh, here is the website:

a non-denominational, bible believing church.
a really good friend of mine attends there, and they did have a WOF group the last two years i think! it's a great, small church. the pastor is a fun, passionate lover of christ and a great teacher. you will love this place!!

We are members of First United Methodist Georgetown and love it. There are so many opportunities for fellowship and the family at large is just wonderful. I have not attended the Women of Faith conference, but know women who have. We have MOPS, many bible studies and small groups, Wednesday evening dinners and activities.
It would be wonderful to have you visit the church.
