New to the Area and Need Medical References...

Hello Friend!

Ok, here is my list:

Pediatrician: Dr. Quarles or Dr. Williams at Texas Children's Pediatric Associates (Conroe). Avery doesn't cry when he see's her (Dr. Quarles) and she doesn't make me feel inferior. Ginger uses Dr. Williams (also a female) and swears by her. She would be my choice if ever Dr. Quarles wasn't available.

Dentist: Dr. Billy Puckett at Advanced Dental in Montgomery (http://advanceddentaltx.com/). He was very gentle when I had that tooth fixed. Before he got to me, he was working on a little boy and the boy didn't fuss at all, so I know he's good with kids. The office is small and doesn't feel like a dental office, more of a homey feeling.

My ob/gyn is in The Woodlands and my optometrist is way down 1960 at Champions. Hopefully you will get some other really good recommendations. If you get recommendations for pediatricians in Montgomery, let me know. I've had experience with a few of them that I can share with you.

Our Pedi is Forest Pediatrics and they are just fabulous and Christian as well. We feel blessed to have them. My ob/gyn is Dr. Marco Gianotti at Specialist for Women near Research Forest. All of the ladies in my neighborhood said that he was wonderful (delivered all their babies) and I love him as well. He did my hysterectomy 2 years ago. Our eye doctor is Davida Baxter and we really like her as well. She is good with my 18 year old and my 7 year old. We have been using all of these Dr. since 2003. I can't recommend a gen dentist here...ours is in Kingwood and fabulous. There is a really good pedi dentist in Sterling Ridge, but I can't remember his name. When I do, I will let you know.

Here goes my list.
I totally have to agree with Melissa on the pediatrician.. Dr.Quarles ###-###-#### is amazing. We've been seeing her since Alyssa was born.. 3 yrs and dont have one complaint! 99% of the time she is available.. -except for Tuesdays she is off- if for some reason she is booked we will see Dr.Williams.
For my general practitioner I use Dr.Hinds Campa ###-###-####..she is across from the Conroe High School.
My gynecologist I use Dr.Cheng ###-###-####.. She delivered Alyssa and also did my tubal then my hysterectomy. Michelle, Leslie, Giza and a few other ladies that we know use her too.
Now as far as the dentist.. Jennifer said her boss and her husband have a practice on 105 by the lake. I'm not sure of his name.. I think she said Dr.Pratt.. But, Thats who I plan on seeing. She said he is a really good dentist.

Oh FYI.. back doctor.. Dr.Yezak is exceptional. He has helped Jay sooooo much. His staff is by far the most amazing people also. I'd recommend him to anyone!!!

This is my list...

Family doctor: Dr. Samantha Hinds-Campa ###-###-#### in Conroe across from Conroe High School. I just started seeing her and she is wonderful but all my family has been going to her for years.

Pediatrician: It is a little far (Spring) but we have used Dr. Shams Nandwani for 9 yrs. he just opened his own practice and we will follow him where ever he goes. He is awsome and even calls my home to check on my kids when they are extremely sick. Also has given me his personal cell # for problems over the weekend. www.championspediatric.com

Optometrist: We go to Eyetrends in Conroe. In front of Home Depot. We have seen several of their doctors and have always been pleased.

Dentist: Dr. Attwood in Conroe. ###-###-####. His office is great and has staff that has worked for him for a long time. They always make you feel like a friend and not just a patient. I do think you have to be at least 7-8 yrs. old.
My kids go to Dr. McCandless a pediatric dentist in Tomball ###-###-####. A little far but a great office as well. Also Dr. Offutt in Conroe is good for pediatrics.

Obgyn: I see Dr. Syal in The Woodlands by Memorial Herman Hospital ###-###-#### at the woodlands obgyn associates. He is funny and easy to talk to. His office has all the newest technology and there are two other women doctors in his office as well. Also in the woodlands is Dr. Francis, a woman, she delivered one of my children in an emergency and was fantastic.
