New to Hudson, Looking for Mom's Group or Activities

We are new to the area and I'm trying to find things for myself and my boys (2 and 11 months) to do. I stay home with my kids so I'm looking for ways to fill the day. Any ideas on things to do around here...like where good parks are, or fun activities for the kids. Also looking for a mom's group. We really need to get out and meet some people:)

What can I do next?

Not sure if you might be looking to meet other moms with toddlers...but just in case. I live in Hudson off 52 in Shadow Lakes and have an active 2 yr old son. I have been looking to meet up with other moms who just want to have play dates for their toddlers. I had been a part of a great moms group but everything they did was not local to me here in Hudson and a few who came to the first play date I held at my house said it was really too far north for them to come. If you are interested email me at ____@____.com

Hi-
I have just joined a group in out area & we now nclude the Husdon area residents. There are several age groups of kids, so they would both have playmates. You can contact Rachel Long, the Membership VP, at ###-###-####. The group also has a yahoo site you can check out & contact @ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NPRMOMS2/ We have a St. Patrick's Day craft & play time at Starkey Park starting at 10:30am. If you would like to attend, let them know on the group site or call Rachel. I'm pretty sure you can attend an event before becoming a member, to try us out, so-to-speak.
Hope to meet you soon!

P/S Also wanted to mention that the local libraries have story time that is free for the kiddos. The Regency Park location on Little Road holds theirs on Wednesday's at 10:30, I believe. The Hudson location just ended theirs since they are closed for remodeling for a month.
