I am new to the area and I need a doctor. I really need a GYN, My children are 20 and 11 so I no longer need the baby factory type of office. I would prefer a woman, I have been using a NP and was pleased. I have not had any problems just need yearly check-up which is about 6 months past due.

you just reminded me i'm past due also! i've used my doctor's NP for my past 2 exams and i love her. i'm not sure what part of town you're in but they are in irving, they have an office on macarthur between northgate and 183 and an office at baylor irving. her name is kim sakovich and the doctor is peter sakovich (she's his sister in law). i've been going to sakovich for about 13 years now and besides the fact he's always busy i love him!! ###-###-####. hope you find someone you like.

If you are in the SW Fort Worth area, I loved Dr. Berkeley Merrill's NP (I think her name is Alicia). It has been 3 years since I used this practice and only switched when they stopped accepting my insurance, otherwise I would have stayed with them forever! Their office is located on Bryant Irvin Rd. My current OBGYN is Dr. Cynthia Robbins and she is great (located just south of downtown Fort Worth), but their office has a ton of women patients who are pregnant or of "child-bearing age". I know it can be difficult to schedule a regular PAP exam appointment that isn't 6 months to a year down the road if you are a new patient. Dr. Bradford is also in this practice and she actually delivered my first child. I had never met her before that day but her bedside manner was immaculate.

I also use Dr. Merrill, as someone else mentioned, and have seen Alicia many times. I love her, and she did all of my ultrasounds, of which I had to have more than usual when I had my 3 year old. I also have had her do my annual exams, of which I used to have to go every 3-4 months, so have seen them both extensively. ph ###-###-####. You'll need to ask specifically for Alicia if you want her to be the one to examine you. I have been going to them for 7 years.

I saw that someone else mentioned Dr. Celeste Williams. I LOVE her!!! Just a little background: she was a labor and delivery nurse at harris before she became an ob/gyn. I believe this is the reason she has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever used!!!

Hi W., what city do you live in? I have a wonderful OBGYN's office that I go to in Arlington. The Doctor is a man, but I only see him when I've delivered my babies. Other than that I schedule my appointments with his Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, not sure of official title, but she does everything other than the baby delivery. She is wonderful....I'd drive an hour to see her versus switching doctors offices. If Arlington is convenient for you (near Arlington Memorial Hospital) email me at ____@____.com and I will send you her info. Thanks!
