R.... GREAT perspective, finding the right teaching and foundation for you and your family is imperitive. WHEREVER you move, consider a church with an AWANA program where your kids recieve an ACTIVE program enriching their knowledge in the Scriptures. We are thrilled that our 8 yr old Granddaughter has learned the books of the Bible and is reciting memorized Scripture. It is a very loving environment and she is flourishing!! Blessings to you! L.

I love my church! Seacoast Vineyard, it is reasurant row in Myrtle beach. It is on the north end almost in NMB. We live in Longs so it is a good location for us and they have purchased land right off of hwy 22 so it could be easy to get there from a lot of different places. It depends on where you live but there are a lot of people that attend our church from as far away as Murrell's Inlet all the way to Brunswick County. Hope this helps!!

My dad attends a great church in Goose Creek,SC, Peace Presbyterian. They also have a great afterschool and daycare program as well as kintergarten where my 12 year old sister spent a great deal of time since my dad was a single parent for most of her younger years. The church is located off of Crowfield Blvd in Goose Creek and is a small, very friendly church.

I don't know if you will be moving to the Islands area, but I highly recommend St. Michael's Catholic school and church at Tybee Island. My daughter is enrolled at St. Michael's and we absolutely love it. The Tybee YMCA provides after school care at the school and camps at the Y facility when they are out of school. The class sizes are small, so kids don't get lost in the shuffle of bigger schools. They are also about to formalize problem based learning programs that the colleges now expect and they have a marine science program that none of the other schools have. I just can't say enough about the school!

Hi, You didn't say were you were located but I clicked on your name and saw that you live in Richmond Hill, GA. I live in Hinesville about 20 min. away. If you are ever in town, I attend and am a member of Baconton Missionary Baptist Church. It's actually in Allenhurst or Walthourville, GA (suburbs of Hinesville, lol) We have a wonderful church and an excellent youth ministry. We have Wednesday night bible study for all ages, a youth choir, praise dancers, drill team, usher's ministry and puppet ministry of which I am in charge of. We are predominately African American but all are welcome. Just wanted to let you know. contact me privately for directions.

Well welcome to the area! I'm not sure exactly where you are, but First Church of the Nazarene on Haywood Road in Greenville is a great church. Size-wise, we run about 350-400. The have a great children's program, good youth program and wonderful people. They also have a daycare there (that's where my almost 2 year old goes). Good luck finding what you're looking for. If you need a caring, loving church family, we could be the place for you. :)

You don't say what town? We belong to Sugarloaf UMC and it isn't a small church but has that small, intimate, caring feel. The spirit of God is alive & well there. Praise God. We also have a very active children's ministry. God is there if you are in that area. It's located on Scales Rd. in Suwanee.

Hi R.,
I would recommend that you visit Savannah Christian Church. It is located off of 17, not far from Richmond Hill. It is a large church, but we love it. The children's programs they offer are so wonderful. I only have good things to say. We also have friends that attend the First Baptist Church in Richmond Hill and I know they have lots of activities going on too. I know that finding a church is not easy, but hopefully you will find one that fits your families needs.

Hi,

I have been a member of Central Presbyterian Church, downtown Atlanta directly across from the Capitol (201 Washington Street) for many years. We have wonderful children's and youth programs - Christian education, opportunities for fun, intergenerational events, vocal and handbell choirs for all ages. Our Sunday worship service is inspiring with great preaching and beautiful music. Central is an open, welcoming community, passionate about serving those in need. Our members live all over metro Atlanta. We would love for you to visit and worship with us. A. H.

Hi R.,
I'm not sure what denomination or size church you are looking for, but I highly recommend Trinity Chapel in Powder Springs, GA. We beleive in the risen Savior of Jesus Christ and His love, acceptance and forgiveness. It is a Church of God and there are 2 services on Sunday with about 3000 people at each. They have a children's church and so many other support services. You can be a part of service online at www.trinitychapel.org. As you seek a church home, ask God where He wants you to be.
Best wishes, Y.

Hands down, the BEST church, minister, and children's programs is Northpoint Community Church!! We moved from the area and were gone for a little while, and I cried, and cried leaving Northpoint, bur now we're back, and I'm still so excited to be back at Northpoint!! But if you're looking for a small church, it will not be the one for you...it is pretty large...good luck in whatever you choose!
