Looking for a playgroup, or other activities for my son and me to meet other moms with children.
I know he may be a little too old, but you can go to new moms group at the Fairview Wellness center, on Wooster and center ridge. I believe they meet on tuesday mornings. That is where i found my awsome moms group for our 3 year old boys.

Also try MOPS (mother's of pre-schoolers) They are national and i know they have several chapters in the area...they have a website, but not sure of address.

the y have 2 services one at 900 to 1130
other 1200 to 230 is a hispanic church they have traslate in english .
Check out www.momsclub.org for a chapter near you. It';s a group for stay-at-home moms. If you work, there's always an Early Childhood PTA which is a great way meet other moms. Our chapter has been a lifesaver for my daughter and I!
You may want to check out momsclub.org to see if there is a chapter in your area. I belong to the one in Parma and I am very happy being a member. If there is not a chapter in your area you can always start one for yourself and other moms in your area. It is an international non-profit organization with dues of about $20.00 a year. We have playdates and we also have moms night out once a month. We also have 4 parties a year for the children and do random meetings with the children, like going to the zoo, out for lunch, or a breakfast in at someone's house. It is really great! Good Luck!
I'm fairly new to the Cleveland area as well. I'm not even sure where Fairview Park is. If it's anywhere close to Broadview Heights, I'd love to get together with you. I'm 36 and have a 6 month old son. I also posted about playgroups but haven't called any yet.
