My son's doctor decided that she was going to switch back down to the Nashville branch of the office and has left me in a lurch when it comes to a good doctor in Clarksville for my son. I dont want to just open the phone book and pick someone that way so if anyone has anyone that they reccomend that will take Tricare as insurance please let me know. I need someone who is compassionate and actually willing to listen to me when I talk.

What can I do next?

I do not know if Premier next to Target accepts Tricare but I like Dr Miller (male) He is great with my boys but also takes charge when we are there so they will sit quiet while we talk. I have heard other say that they like Premier peds--too far of a drive for me-

I don't know much about C'vill doctors, but if you don't mind going to Hopkinsville, they have a few good ones. I was taking my son to Associates of Pediatrics. They could always get me in with same day appointments and they are always willing to listen. They have 3 pediatricians and 2 nurse practitioners (i think.) My favorite doctor up there is Dr. Price, but one of my g-friends really likes Dr. Campbell, and Ms. Betty, an N.P., is heaven sent. If you would like to give them a call their number is ###-###-####. Their office is located in Jennie Stuart Hospital. Good Luck

Hello,
We are seeing Dr Engler at Centennial Pediatrics on Warfield Blvd. They take Tricare Prime and Standard as far as I know. I have a 10 months old and a 2 1/2 year old. They both love going there. My older one even asks to go because she gets stickers there ;) I can only say good things about the doctor and the nurses.

I take my kids to Dr. Barbara Aquino... she is very proactive in finding the cause of problems and likes to go ahead and treat things rather than "let's wait and see." A friend of mine is military and just switched to her last week, so I know she takes Tricare. I always make my appointments for 1:00 and we are in and out of there pretty quick. Her office is located off of Memorial Drive.

HTH,
K.
