Does anyone have any suggestions for Birthday Party's?
With 3 young girls, a nephew a stepson, & not to mention all my friends kids, I feel like we are constantly going to the same places for birthday parties.

Chuck E Cheese, Pump it Up, the Adventure Dome, Olivias Doll House, mad Scientist Parties, Princess Parties and lastly a Hoe Down at a Ranch! With a BBQ, horseback riding and all!

I feel like we have done it all, and over and over and over again!

Does anyone know of any new or different places to have a child's birhtday party at?

Pleas Help! I have another birthday coming up in a month! I need something different before I end up in the the Birthday Party Loony Bin!

Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

Some of the ones you mentioned I had not heard of so I thank you for the suggestions.

Here are my suggestions for kids parties here in Las Vegas:
JUNGLE THEMED: RAINFOREST CAFÉ at the MGM Grand Hotel: Check their website out for more details
ROCK N ROLLTHEME: HARD ROCK CAFÉ on Paradise and Harmon
MOTORCYCLES THEME: HARELY DAVIDSON on the Strip
NASCAR RACING: NASCAR CAFÉ on Sahara and the Strip
MEDIEVAL: TOURNAMENT OF THE KINGS at the Excalibur

I'm not sure of the prices, but some of these venues would be fun.

Here's to a happy birthday where ever you decide to hold it.

We had one of my daughters parties at the Leid Discovery Museum. It was great for all the families. They took care of everything and there were activities for all ages. plus there isn't a bunch of things to push up the cost of the party. Since I have a large family and quite a few close friends it was nice that everyone was able to have their own time with the kids and I didn't feel like I had to "entertain" as much.

I have 2 summer babies and I do water themed parties. The pools at the rec center host parties and they are very affordable. There are also a lot of parks with a water play area and the kids can run around and get exercise. If I have a water party, instead of goody bags I go to the dollar store and get floaties or squirt guns for the kids to take home with them.

Did all of us have a themed birthday party every year growing up? I know I didn't. A family BBQ with water features in the back yard is fun. Movie night with the family with popcorn and maybe rent a projector and have it in the back yard with the movie playing on a white sheet. Maybe meet a couple of your kids friends at Krispy Creme Doughnuts one morning (they have birthday parties too). Birthday parties, these days, are becoming too outlandish thus putting a lot of pressure on us moms to keep up with the Jones'. No wonder why moms are so stressed out these days. Lets take a step back and remember how we grew up and that's ok. You will find that your other mom friends may agree too, but are too scared to speak up.

G.,

If you are in the Las Vegas area, try the Lied Children's Discovery Museum. We went there 2 weeks ago on Sunday and they were having a birthday party so I know they do them.

Try Leid Childrens Museum, www.ldcm.org. I dont have personal experience with it but it sounds like a great place, one I may try next year on my sons 4th birthday.

I did a Noah's Ark birthday party for my 4-yr old last year. The kids had a lot of fun making their own animals. They have a dinosaur party for boys and are going to be getting Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears this fall. For older girls, they have a Bella Bee Workshop which is when the girls get dressed up and do the whole glamour thing. I am a little impartial because I am a rep for the company, but it was a big hit when I had one for my daughter and I know it's a hit at all the parties I have done.
