This is kind of random but I am in need of having a newspaper article framed. Does anyone know of a place I can go to have this done. I was not sure if Hobby Lobby would do such a thing. Anywhere in the JOCO area would be helpful. Thank you so much for any advice!

What can I do next?

JoAnn's & Michael's almost always have 50% off framing coupons out. I know that JoAnn's @ 115th & Metcalf does a nice job - I haven't tried Michael's.

Hobby Lobby does do it and they have framing sales every couple of months.

Deck the Walls was always the place in Columbia to do this sort of thing. They have a location at Crackerneck Plaza on Hwy 40 in Independence. They have special persevation techniques especially meant for things like newspapers. They are an art gallery so they are not necessarily cheap but they are reasonable from what I understand. You might try getting quotes from several different places before you actually decide.

If you wanted to laminate it first, you can take it to Kinkos. I did that to a poster board (per Hobby Lobby's suggestion) then returned to Hobby Lobby where they matted it for me. I'm sure they could do the same for a newspaper article, and help you find a nice frame to match.
(If you are in Olathe, Kinkos is basically right across the street from Hobby Lobby on Santa Fe).
