Hey ladies,
Just wondering if anyone has used any of the OTC products to whiten your teeth?
I don't have the straightest of teeth so I am wondering if I will get anything that works. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
L.

I have two! First use Crest Pro-Health tooth paste! I noticed a different right away! Then the Crest white strips. I can not use them, because my teeth are sensitve, but they work wonders on my husband!

Yes! I highly recommend Crest Whitestrips! When I was a child I was on a lot of antibiotics which turned my teeth yellow. The dentist always said that when I got older I could have them professionally whitened. When Crest Whitestrips first came out several years ago I tried them. My teeth got so white!

I'll never forget all of a sudden people started telling me how white my teeth were and how pretty my smile was. I had never heard that before. It has been about 6 years since I first used them and I have only bought two boxes since, to touch up, and my teeth are still very white.

Also, I wouldn't worry about your teeth not being very straight. The strips are almost like saran wrap. You can mold them on to your teeth very easily.

Good luck!

I have used the crest white strips they worked well for me. I noticed a change in about 3 days of using it properly. great $30.00 investment. Sometimes you can catch them on sale or Sam's Club has them at a great price if you and you spouse or someone else may want to try them, you guys could split the cost. Some people have said that they make your teeth sensitive but that was not the case for me.
Good Luck,

I love the Listerine whitening rinse...I've done the strips before and I get just as good results from the rinse....it's alot cheaper and easier. there are usually always coupons for it in the sunday papaer.

I use the Crest Whitestrips Pro and they work great!
They recommend using them for 7 days, but I see results in 2.
I also use a whitening tooth paste and rinse my mouth with Crest Pro Whitening mouth wash.

It is also important to floss every day to keep the spaces between your teeth white as well.

The Crest Whitestrips do work, but it takes a long, long time. My teeth were not even that yellow! After paying $30 over & over again, I went & got the trays from the dentist. They make an exact mold to your teeth. It was only $200 for it all, & the gel is only $20 for a refill which you only have to do once a year. Plus, after the initial 8 days of wearing the trays, you only have to touch them up once every 6 months. I think the dentist trays are more worth the money & less time.

I use listerine dissolving strips. They dissolve in just a few minutes and mold to the shape of your teeth right away. Get yourself a glass of water bc they do make you pretty thirsty. :)
