We are going to be moving to the Zionsville area from out of state before school starts and I would like to find a good preschool for my 4 year old son. He barely misses the cut off for Kinder this year so I would really like to get him in a good preschool/prekindergarten class. I had him set to go to a really good one here in Texas that is from 9am-2pm Tues. and Thurs. for $130 a month. I do not know how different the prices are there but would like to stay in the same price range. Any information and advise would be a great help.

What can I do next?

My two boys went to our church preschool, Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool. I was extremely happy with their preschool experience. I think availabilty is limited at this point but it is worth checking out. They aren't in Zionsville but on Meridian and 465..not too bad of a drive. Also, a friend of mine took her two daughters to Zionsville Methodist Church's preschool and had a good experience there. One of her daughter's had special needs and they took care of her very well. Good Luck!

Bethel Nursery School, on the NW side of Indy (just a short drive from Z-ville). Both my kids went there (I went there, too, in fact), and I couldn't be more pleased with their experience.

I don't know for sure that they still have openings in their 4's classes, but it's worth a shot to call ###-###-####)-- they have both a regular 4's class and a co-op class, and possibly a class that's a mixture of 3's and younger 4's...

I have heard wonderful things about the Goddard school in Zionsville. We are actually moving to Westfield and looking for the same thing. The Goddard there was VERY impressive!

We went to Learning Time Preschool, and liked it very much.
The address is technically (West) Indianapolis, but it's 5 mins from my Zionsville address.

I liked their flexibility--we had her in for 5 hours per day, and I could pick those hours! If I decided to let her stay all day, all it took was a phone call and it only cost $10.
If you can get Mr. Quimby, you scored!
