Need Suggestions for an Ob/gyn Who Takes HPN (HMO) Insurance!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and need recommendations for an Ob/Gyn. I've gotten several suggestions from people, but when I look the doctor up, they don't take HPN! I'd prefer a female, and one with privileges at St. Rose - Siena campus, or Summerlin Hospital, but I'm open to all suggestions as long as they take HPN. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I saw Dr Melissa Kyrimis at Southwest Medical. I know they take HPN. She was very nice and took great care of me. The other female in the office was Dr Shounhaus (not sure how to spell it but its pronounce Showin-house), she was also very nice and I probably would have seen her but in the beginning I just took the first doctor they put me with. Southwest Medical gets a bad rap but both of those doctors were really great and I didn't have anything but a positive experience! Good Luck to you and Congrats on your pregnancy!

I go to Green Valley Ob/Gyn and see Dr. Rebecca Tyre, number is ###-###-####. I do not know if they take HPN. I have Cigna and I know they take that. She also delivers at Siena. Hope that helps!

I also see Dr. Tyre at Green Valley OB/Gyn. She delivered my daughter at St Rose Siena last year, but I had CIGNA back then. I'm pretty sure when we got HPN, I checked to make sure I was still covered there, but I'm not positive.

The only thing is the wait to see her is usually pretty long unless you get in first thing in the morning.

Try Dr. Michelle Lewis - she's off of Green Valley Parkway, by Wigwam (I think). She was great and I delivered at St. Rose Siena. She's a one woman practice, so time spent in the waiting room kind of stinks, but a great doctor with fabulous bedside manner!

I have HPN and my OB/GYN is Elizabeth A. Moore, phone # ###-###-####, address is 10521 Jeffreys St, Ste 100, Henderson (near corner of Horizon Ridge and Jeffreys). I think she is now taking new patients. I'm past the OB stage (my baby is 21), but she has been very helpful with my gyn issues. Congratulations and good luck.

Miller, Turner Obgyn I have the same insurance and see Dr. Foster there. They have two offices one on horizon ridge/ eastern area and a new office at St. Martin campus. They only delivers at the St. Rose hospitals. Highly recommend them. I just gave birth in January and was very pleased with the Dr.'s And staff. Sorry don't know the number off hand but you can google and get there website.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

I had HPN for my last pregnancy.. I saw Dr Torres at Green Valley OB/GYN and HATED him, but I heard Dr Rebecca Tyre there is nice.. and they do take HPN (HMO). They do deliver at St Rose Siena (and Spring Valley Hospital) I also saw a dr in Southwest Medical Associates and they are AWFUL. I had to see them for my first 2 prenatal visits because that is who HPN assigned me to and I had to wait a month to change doctors.

If you need to see a peri too I went to CMFM and they were great, but beware the co-pays with HPN! I paid out the wazoo in co-pays because I had to see the peri and get the NSTs and extra ultrasounds.

I went to Dr. Miller. She did take our HMO insurance and she was so great!!! I really loved her! I was scheduled to deliver at St Rose Siena but ended up at San Martin- long story. But that hospital was great too!
