Hi everybody, I know we are all always looking for ways to make extra money. Just thought I would see if anybody out there has any legitimate ways that you don't have to put any money into. I am a single mom and I already work more than 40 hours a week, but I need to figure something out to do from home with my kids to just make some extra cash here and there. You know, for the extras and the surprises! Please share if you have any ideas no matter how silly they might seem!!!!

This may seem like a "thing of the past", but my girlfriend is doing really well selling Avon. She has only been doing it for about 4 months, but averages between $400-$500 a month in sales. There is only a $10 investment and she gets nice discounts for her own purchases...Just a thought. Good luck to you.

An easy way to make some extra cash is to participate on research studies for cosmetic testing. There is a testing lab in Carrollton called Stephens & Associates and another one in Irving called RCTS. I do clinical testing internally for a cosmetics company, so I can tell you that it is an easy, safe and usually fun way to make extra money.
Another way is to be a secret shopper. You can go online and fill out applications with many different companies. Usually, the small amount of money or free product you get, is not necessarily worth the amount of time you spend shopping and writing reports, however.

When I stumbled upon homestead.com and began to build and design my own website, it was so easy that I decided, if my own biz wasn't enough to pay the bills, I could design websites for small biz owners who can't afford to pay a pro to design their website. And, this was something I could do from home. This might be a good idea for you.
