Hi, my son goes to a wonderful home daycare in Oak Park. He is now 6 years old and has been going there for 5 years. She currently has openings, please send me a message if you'd like her information.

Hi, when we were in Oak Park, we used Debbie's Daycare Home (Tel: 773/745/5709) and we were very pleased - we only stopped going to her because we moved out of the area. She is listed in the Local Businesses section of Mamapedia with excellent reviews. Another route would be to call the West Suburban Home Day Care Association (which is how we found Debbie) at ###-###-#### and Vicki should be able to give you a few listings to check out. Best of luck - I know it's a hard decision but you'll find the right fit!

A good place to start is your local child care resource and referral agency. The ccrr can provide you with a list of child care programs in your area or other areas you are interested in. They can also provide you with information on accredited programs and information on screening for quality and licensing standards etc. The official child care resource and referral for Cook County can be reached by calling ###-###-#### or visit their website at www.actforchildren.org. You can also go on NAEYC website or NAFCC website to find accredited centers or family child care homes in your area.

I am not sure where you are in Oak Park. We are just north of Oak Park and our kids go to a large in home daycare on Natoma, it is very close to the Oak Park and North Avenue intersection. We love Granny's Corner. My daughter is going to be 4 in September and has gone to Granny's Corner since she was 8 weeks old. She is doing fabulously and we just decided to keep her in Granny's Corner another year instead of sending her to preschool because she is advancing so well. My son is 13 months old and has been at Granny's Corner since he was 6 weeks old and is also doing very well.

If you would like more information, feel free to contact me. Here is there website if you would like to check it out:

Good Luck,
D.

Hi, I am a licensed home childcare provider in Oak Park. I do not have any openings, however, I know another childcare provider in Oak Park who does. If you are still looking for childcare, you may contact me and I can give you details.

Thanks

There is a booklet at the library about all the daycare/school options in the area that is supposed to be really helpful.
