I would like to recommend a great obgyn and pediatrician. First, the absolute best obgyn group is MUSC East Cooper Women's Center. Dr.Pound and Dr.Williamson delievered both my girls and they are absolutely wonderful. Also great since you live in M.P. They deliever at East Cooper RMC. Small but wonderful. My pediatrician is Dr.Graham or Dr.Clifford with MUSC Carolina Family Care(Childrens Medical Associates). We love them. They're kind and patient, but also straightforward.
They're located by the Isle of Palms Connector, so they're conveinent as well. Hope this helps!!

I really like the doctors (specifically Dr. Molly Joseph and Dr. Carrie Felty) at Lowcountry OB. They work at East Cooper Hospital.

D.. I haven't been in the area all that long, but I had a baby in November. Lowcountry OB/GYN was wonderful. My doctor is Dr. OSborne, and it is my understanding that he is one of the better doctors in the area (though I will admit that he lacks a bit in the way of bedside manners). The practice is very good. If you prefer a female OB/GYN, Caroline Felty (she's in the same practice) saw me while I was pregnant, and I was very impressed with her. I think there are 13 doctors in that practice, and I haven't heard anything bad about any of them. Dr. White delivered my baby, and she seemed good too. They have offices in Mt. Pleasant and West Ashley.

As for pediatricians, I wouldn't ever switch. We go to Charleston Pediatriacs, and I have seen all 3 doctors there. All of them are great. They have wonderful bedside manner, and all of them have great reputations. Dr. Sperry is my favorite, but they are all good. Dr. Quattelbaum is the best with the older kids I understand. Like I said, I've seen all three of them and like them all. (Dr. Stapelton is the third one in the practice). I am a working mom as well, and my child is in daycare. She got very sick about 2 months ago, and they handled it well. She also had reflux very bad when she was first born, and they jumped on it quickly and fixed it before it became too serious of a problem. We had some weight gain issues with her due to the reflux, and they were also very good at not making mom worry too much. I highly recommend them.

My children see Dr. Colleen Boylston at Sweetgrass Pediatrics in N. Charleston ###-###-####) She is great!
When I was pregnant with my son I saw the Nurse/Midwifes at Low Country Womens Care ###-###-####). This was my fourth child and the first time I had seen Midwifes instead of doctors and it was a much better experience. The midwifes will also see you for GYN stuff. The also have doctors there but, I never neede to see them.

Hey D.,
I would recommend Dr. Wade Boatwright in Chas he is the only physician in his practice therefore you get all the attention. I am 6 mo pregnant with my first and have been going to hime for a while. I have two sister-in-laws and they both have delivered through him. I have seen Dr. Osborne before and I stopped going to him after his practice treated you like a number and also for 6 1/2 years he had me on birth control I had no idea that this could be harmful to me. At the chek-ups he would just write another prescription. Please check them out first. Thanks

I have been using Dr. Rogerson at Mt Pleasant ObGyn. She is one of five women at that practice and I think all of the doctors are good. We were personally very happy with Dr. Rogerson who supervised my first pregnancy 1 1/2 years ago.
