Hi B.,
I'm no good at this either. I always know Chuck E Cheese is where my Grandkids like to go, plus, you don't have to clean up

Do they have a music sound track to the movie? If so, you could use it to play freeze dance. However, you can use any kid type music and have the girl's dance around to the music and then when you stop the music everyone freezes. Whoever is the last one to freeze is out. Continue to play until you have a winner. Also most girl's at this age love crafts. For my daughter we are doing a pretend sleep over. We will do everything you do at a real sleep over except for everyone will go home at bedtime. She is also turning six. We will be decorating white pillowcases for them to take home with fabric paints and sponges. Good Luck and most of all just have FUN!

Hi B.!! My son just had his 5th birthday party last weekend. Musical chairs was a huge hit for the kiddos. They wanted to play over and over. Us adults were getting into it as well. It was alot of fun. Hot potato is also a good game as well. We didn't have much money to invest into his birthday so we had to be creative. I hope you have fun at the birthday party.

Hello,
My daughter is also 6. There are so many games to do at this age, it is the younger ones that are hard. They have themed bingo cards with small matching cards to call from, not just the numbered balls in the cage. They could have a potato sack race with pillow cases, three legged race with a hair scrunchy to tie their feet together. Bean bag toss game with hoola hoops, or large plastic bowls and bean bags (or small bean filled stuffed animals). A wonderful website for kids stuff is www.kidsdomain.com. It also has a ton of other things for kids, and best of all it is free.
Good luck,
Michelle

How about a jumping game....get lots of green tissue paper to make a "hedge" and have the kids jump over it. After each child jumps over it add another "hedge" next to it and have them try to jump over both at the same time...keep going until you have a winner. It will burn lots of energy. I love the idea of acorn hunting too. C.

I am not sure what to tell you! I have a Five year old myself. All i can suggest is like a balloon pop or musical chairs or even pin the tail on the donkey. Good Luck.

I girls love to play pin the tail on the donkey. You can get this game at any Party Supply store. Also, if it is all girls at the party and you have dress up clothes they can do this. Check out these websites they have some games listed.

I have a cute idea for ya w/ your theme in mind. Hammey the squirel lost his nuts in the movie. Hide some nuts and see who has the most at the end. Good to play inside as well. "Help Hammey find his nuts" Give a lil prize to the winner. Dollar store is great for prizes. Another one for you. RJ the raccoon had a list of verious items he had to get for the bear. You can build a hunt around that. Iam out of ideas at the moment. Hope this helps. Have fun and Happy Birthday to the lil one. Great theme!!!
