My child care provider is pregnant and due the end of March. We need to find part time child care for our son (who is almost one). I've gone on the mnchildcare website but i'm not finding any openings. We are looking in our neighborhood, Mac Groveland and towards downtown mpls. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any openings in those areas?

Thank you!

Hello. You can also try www.craigslist.com for help. You can look at ads and also post your own ad. I'd give it a try. Good luck!

Hi R.,
If you can't find anyone, I have an opening here at my in-home daycare, but I'm the opposite direction, I live off I94 and White Bear Ave. easy access to I94. I used to work in Mpls it only took 20 min. to get downtown Mpls. Hope this helps. You can look at it as something (short- time) for a longer commute, if you can't find anyone else.
You can call me at ###-###-#### for more info.
Thanks
S.

Hello...
You can dial 211 on your phone and ask for the daycare resource and referral. They will give you a number for your area and they will send you a list of all daycares in your area. You give them the times you need, whether you want a in home or center, and a whole lot of information as well. Good luck, my daycare lady just had a baby this past monday so I know what you are going through. Good luck, again!!
