Dr. Robert Koss is a great OB (his office is right inside the hospital...in the parkside building)...###-###-####...He delivered my first 2 girls and we have another baby on the way. His back-up Dr. is also great...Dr. Chen (if he's on vacation)...she's in Skokie right across from Old Orchard. Good luck!

I also see Dr. Merkin. I have been seeing her for 17 years. I have also seen Dr. Schwartz. He delivered my second child a few years ago. I love their practice.

I also see Dr. Alice Chen and loved how much attention I got from her and how personal she was.

My first child was delivered by Dr. Lolly (who was great) and my regular OB at that office was Dr. Snow. All the doctors there were great, it was just a very big office and always so busy I sometimes felt rushed.

Dr. Harbans Deol (woman) She was amazing! respectful of my needs and wishes, encouraging and supportive. felt like I was giving birth under the care of my mother (if my mother was a competently trained OB/GYN). Her office is at Holy Family on Golf and river. Her staff are even more helful and resourceful than i could have imagined. always willing to re arrange scheduling and squeeze you in. even the billing staff took the time to sit with me (in person, after an appt. with the doc but had not scheduled anything with billing) and walk me through what my insurance provides and doesn't. let me know if you want her phone number...

I was seeing Dr. Koss until my insurance unfortunately changed. He's wonderful and really nice. I'm pregnant now and wish he were going to be delivering my baby. Good luck!

I see Associates in OB-GYN at Lutheran General - Dr. Maureen Carson and Dr. Rebecca Weber. Their number is ###-###-####. Dr. Carson is very experienced and Dr. Weber is younger, but very "together". Dr. Carson delivered my son and will deliver my next one in 2 weeks, but I recommend both doctors. Dr. Alice Chen used to be a partner in that practice, but left a long time ago. I had seen her a couple of times and liked her. I do have more of a relationship with Dr. Carson and Dr. Weber, though, and I highly recommend them.

Hi-

I've been seeing Helayne Merkin for many years. She was recommended by a friend with lots of issues, who was extremely picky about doctors. Her partner is Dr. Schwartz, who is male. I had to see him a few times when I was pregnant (just in case he ended up delivering) but Dr. Merkin delivered both of my children...well, technically not the second one, but I went from 4 to 10 in seconds, and my son wasn't going to wait. I have been very pleased with her, and the office, and would definitely recommend them. I think her number is ###-###-####. She's in the pavillion right next to the hospital.

I also used Partners in OB-GYN and Dr. Lapota delivered both my sons. I though it was funny since my regular Dr at the practice, Dr. Nash, did not deliver either. It is a large practice but I was comfortable with all the physicians there. If you want something more personable I wouldn't recommend them. But I had no problems with any of the Drs there although I preferred Dr. Lopata and Dr. Nash.

Dr Schwartz. He is awesome!! ###-###-####. He has a woman partner Dr Merkin. I went to her for years but once I was pregnant I switched to him. He delivered my first Baby who is now 2 1/2 and also performed my DNC just weeks ago for my 2nd pregnancy. As scared and nervous I was for both events he was very compassionate, calming and of course knowledgeable. The name of the practice is Parkside OB Gyne Infertility. Suite 465 in the Medical Building. Hope all goes well!!

I had my first baby with dr. lopata.

the practice is too big.

i loved lopata, but felt the service was factory-like and too impersonal from the other 4 physicians...

Dr Alice Chen is great. She is in solo practice, so she will always be the one to deliver your babe. Her office is closed to new Gyne patients, but will take you if you are pregnant.

Dr RObert Koss is also great, and also in solo practice. Both are out of LGH

I used to call on OBGYNs at Lutheran, Ive heard patients recommend Merkin (female, 5th floor I think?) and Maureen Carson (4th floor maybe?). I have also had positive interaction with these women. Stay away from 1st floor
