Hi C.
I'm sure you have already neuter your kitty. Just for future reference I use Mobile Veternary Service and they come to Flower Mound, Dr. Tim Hawk, ###-###-####

I got my cat spayed through www.texasforthem.org. TCAP's Denton program works with area animal shelters and countless animal welfare groups. TCAP also co-hosts satellite programs in Azle, Cleburne, RIchland Hills, Haltom City, Hillsboro and Marble Falls.
http://www.dfwsnyp.com/ has other programs available also.

If you adopted it from Animal Control you should first get it checked for FELV or other diseases. They don't run tests there, and I have adopted there, gotten my cat spayed, only to find out after the $$$ was spent, that it had FELV and it was going to die (and did at 6 months). Very sad.

I know you only have 15 days, but try to get the tests done right away.

Denton has a spay & neuter clinic that's cheap, they're not great, but they're okay.
