Hi all...was wondering if anyone knew of a good playground/playarea for toddlers? We are in the Latham area but I'll travel up to 10 miles to get a good run in for my 3y old twins! We went to a Saratoga Park on Granger today LOVED IT...looking for something a bit closer, any ideas?

What can I do next?

Hi V.,

I also have a three year old boy who, of course, is very active and I have two girls 5 and 7. They love to go to the Crossings in Colonie. I like it too, although it can get very crowded and very hot. But there is a lot of grass area to run and play ball. There are bike trails and a tree maze. If you want to try it out, it is on Albany-Shaker Rd.. If you are coming off the northway you would take that first exit to get onto Wolf Rd. and continue straight by the Time Union building. And it is at the next light, you will be able to see the sign. It really is a beutiful park. Good luck.

Try The Crossings in Colonie - great park/grounds. It can get crowded but thier is still plenty of room for the kids to run, bike, scooter, roller blades, and a pond where yes, you can bring little remote control boats. My son and I spend a great deal of time at this park and by the time we get home (20 minute ride) he is asleep in the car. They even have a pavilion area, so pack a lunch, cooler w/ drinks and spend the entire day with lots to do and room to run. ENJOY!!!

Hi V.,
Try the Crossings in Colonie (right by the aiport) they have a great playground there and my kids love to go look at the fish when we're done playing!

Clifton Park also has a wooden park in the "Commons" area with all the big soccer and baseball fields. My kids think that one is cool because the ice rink is right there so when they're done playing they can have a snowball fight in the middle of July! :)

Good Luck and enjoy the rest of your summer!
