I have an 8 year old and she loves bowling parties and ice skating parties. I live in Sycamore and the bowling alley by us offers arranged parties. You can just go to open skate at the ice rinks, or they might have arranged parties. The place she went to in Rockford did not have arranged parties. Summer would be a great time to go ice skating!!!

Sugar & Spice in LITH. They do quick makeup, hair & nails. Small place that puts out a table for the treats you bring and plays music to dance after. Reasonably priced.

My Secret Garden in Algonquin. Dress up place that provides snack and food. Fancy tea party for girly-girls.

The Build-a-Bear knock off at Spring Hill...unsure of the name. Along the same lines, Noah's Ark comes to the house with animals and accessories.

Justice and Lil' Divas both have girly parties. More expensive.

Movie theathers have a little package deal.
Roller skating, Pump it Up.

I also live in Hutley and had my daughters party at My Secret Garden. It was perfect. All of the girls had a fantastic time and still talk about the details from a year ago. I also just went to a party at Morkes Chocolate Shop on Algonquin Road just before Randall. That was a lot of fun too. The kids got to amke all kinds a candy treats from a chocolate pizaa, roses suckers, chocolate coveres pretzels! veyr fun! Good Luck!
