My daughter's name is Jaelyn Andrea. When I have another girl I might name her Alice Dakota (my mom's name is Alice) - but I will call her Dakota.

I like Haley, Rylan, Danielle and Karly also.

I thought it was sweet... I always wanted to anme my daughter Aubrey if I ever had a girl, but alas I had a boy, so I named him Aiden.. lol... there's wonderful names.. there's Skye... Raven... Sophia, Laila... I'm prone to Scandavaian names, but that's just my heritage.... but...I love it.. just a few ideas.. remember dont let it rhyme with anything obscene!!! lol...

What are your boys' names? Are they classic, contemporary, common, unusual? If your boys' names' have a common theme, you could stick with the theme. Do you have any favorite female characters in books or movies? My daughter's name is Savannah. I thought if I ever had another girl, I'd name her Meadow. They kind of go together. My husband thinks that's silly though. You can go classic - Martha, Sophia, Winefred (Winny for short), Gladyss, Ella, or Esther. Or Savannah, Zoe, Chloe, Phobe, Hannah, Shannon. Or Mariebien (ma ree bee an). My aunts were all named after flowers: Rose, Violet (they called her Vilie), Daisy, and Edelweiss (a dal vize) (but they called her Sunny. When I was little I always thought her given name was Sunflower.) Bethany is a cute name.

Babynames.com worked for use both times. I understand because we have two boys as well 6 and 4. Their names were pretty easy to come up with but of course we also picked girl names just in case! We liked the names Abigail, Madysen, and Shannon. I also like Hannah, Sarah, Amanda, and Jewel. Good luck and Congrats on your little girl!

Oh Congratulations! I love the gift of life!
As for baby names I just finished helping my sister find a name for her daughter- thanx to everyone on Mamasource.
I usually Googled "Baby Names for Girls" and you will get a whole list of websites.
I personally liked the name BIJOUX (pronounced BEE-zhoo) which means Beautiful Jewel. I like exotic names.
My sister liked it but it didn't stick with my brother-in-law. So they named her Brooklyn.
My best friend's daughter's name is Bijoux & I fell in love with it since. So feel free to use it if you'd like. (Like u nd my permission LOL) :)
Now unless you have a certain letter you want her name to begin with....check out the websites, they list them by letter & they give meanings. Hope that helps!
And I pray for a blessed pregnancy!

Hi I., congrats!! I have a boy and would really like a girl. I have had a name in mind and refused to tell a sole because I wasn't going to have another baby for a while and did want anyone to use it. So a few weeks ago my inlaw's cat had babies, and well they used my name. We are all pretty close so I can't very well name my daughter the same name as the cat right?

My vote is for Kalia (Kuh-lee-uh.)

Have a good day!!

Names are so hard to pick. My reccomendation is at your shower, have everyone fill out a "name the baby" sheet where on each sheet, each person has to give a name for each letter of the alphabet. We did that at my shower and it helped immensely.
