I have found that if I have gapping it's because the bra is the wrong style or size. I suggest going to Victoria's Secret and being sized first and then have them show you styles of bras that are best for your figure. It's sad to say that pre-baby bra styles that I loved just don't work for me anymore. I am larger(38C)and have found the full coverage works best for me after 4 kids. Good luck!

I had a terrible time finding a bra after nursing for a year. The only one that worked (and it works great!) is a memory foam bra by Victoria's Secret. It molds to your shape, so it seems that would be perfect for your problem.

When was the last time you were properly fitted for a bra? My bra size changes every couple years. Go to Nordstrom and get fitted and have the sales lady help you find a good t-shirt bra. What fits well for me may not work for you.

Harps Lingerie in Birmingham will size you and find a bra that fits - they are not the cheapest place to get a bra but once they get you started with something that fits, then you can go and buy the same brand elsewhere in the future.

Good luck

If a bra gaps at the top or in the middle, that means you're wearing the wrong size. You can get measured at JC Penny for free. You might just be a larger size than you think.

I never really found a comfortable bra until *santa* shopped at Victoria's Secret last Christmas! I love, love, love their Body By Victoria Bras. I am a big C cup, so we have different fits for sure, but it's worth a try. They are not cheap, but they are good and if you get a few that fit well, you really don't a lot of them.

Also, I will say that since I have had kids, I can no longer wear some bras. The push-up type are a big no-no for me...not only because of the cup size, but because when you 'push up' post baby boobs, they don't look nice and perky and rounded like pre baby boobs. The bra always gaps or your boob falls out around it...really attractive! :) Look for full coverage even though you are not plus size.

Hope it helps!

Hello,

You might consider a specialty bra store. It's a bit far away from you, but there is a place in Michigan Center call Bras That Fit. Not only are they really good at finding the correct size, but if you need to have a bra altered to fit they can do that too.

I have had the exact same problem as I am the same size and barely that :). Recently I went to Victoria's Secret and bought 2 new bras, one was a Biofit, it was amazing! I love it so much AND I found it in the clearance bin for $16! Normally I think it's $48, so either find one in the cheap-o's or wait for a sale. I also got one of their expensive ones, can't remember what it's called, but I know it's the only one with clear straps and can be wore with or without straps(also comes with regular straps). It's nice and comfy but I much prefer the biofit! Plus it looks like I've got some ;)

I'd look at some that don't have an underwire. Some have a "fake" underwire that isn't metal, and that might work as well. Also some of the demi style bras are very low cut in the front, so that changes the position of the underwire so it isn't in a spot to stick out.

Good luck, bra shopping is certainly a pain. If you still have trouble I'd go have a professional fitting at a department store.

M.,
Hello :) Well, I am actually a 32DDD so you and I are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum, but... I have always had an incredibly difficult time finding a bra that works as well and then I came across the Wacoal brand at Macy's. Not sure how much you're willing to spend, but I'll tell you they are very expensive and pretty much never go on sale. ($50-$60 each) I would prefer to not spend that kind of money on a bra, but these are the only ones that actually work for me, they cover me completely, keep me perky and make me feel good about the way I look, so it's worth it. At the very least, I would say just go check them out and see what you think. Hope this helps!

K. :)

You need to look for a demi cup, not a full cup. Also, look for one that has padding at the bottom of the cup, as opposed to the sides. I have good luck with the ambrielle essentials from JCPenney. They are usualy on sale, so if you don't catch it o sale, google a coupon or wait a week or two. Personally, I have never had luck with 'victoria;s secret.
