Need Help on Double Strollers!

I have a 5 yr old, just turned 3 yr old and I'm pregnant with #3 due in July. I had a "convertible" double stroller with my older 2 and didn't like it - they ended up arguing over who sat in the front once they got older. So now I'm looking to get a side-by-side double stroller...but it needs to be able to attach an infant carrier to one side. My husband works long hours and I mainly will be using this stroller for trips to the zoo, park etc while my 5 yr old is in school. I'm thinking of the Combi double but I'm open..

Does anyone have advice or suggestions on a double stroller?

Thanks in advance!!

Update...thank u already for the suggestions. Please let me reiterate that this stroller is for long walks around the zoo (we have memberships so I use that time to walk around and exercise while my 3 yr old gets to see the animals) plus I will be needing it for long walks around the park etc. my 3yr old does walk everywhere except when I need her to be in 1 spot while I walk and do my little exercising (I'm not a jogger). Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

My kids would not have been sitting in a stroller at the age of three, however the Sit-and-Stand would have been useful because it has a bench for the older child to sit on if he gets tired walking on long outings. The Sit-and-Stand is not as cumbersome as a double stroller either.

I will have a newborn & recently turned 3 yr old also. I got a babytrend sit & stand . My 3 year old rarely wants to sit in a stroller but for super-long days I think it will be worth it. He can just hop , off & on or take a rest, if need be.

My son and daughter are 3 years apart. I wish I had gotten the double sit n stand.. the one where there are two full seats, but can be converted to a sit n stand at times. Why? because the zoo, I wish I had two fully laying down seats. (we got the jovy sit n stand).

Mall, my son walks most of the time. Now he is 4.5 and he walks most everywhere.

Your first two were closer together, I think you will see a big difference with the second two. 3 year + is different than 2 years. :)

I have the Combi umbrella double and like it's convenient size-wise, but I wouldn't trust the flexible crossbar to be sturdy enough to put an infant carrier in it, plus it will only take a Combi carrier. It's great for older kids, travel and because it fits just about anywhere.
I have a BOB Dualie that I love and used with a Graco carrier and will use with our Britax carrier. Very easy to handle, even one handed. A bit big and heavy, but not unmanageable.

At this point you should not need a double stroller. The three year old is ore than capable of walking. It would be a waste of money.

I LOVE my Graco Ready to Grow stroller. Seriously check it out. My son was 4 when my daughter was born and we bought this because I like to walk for exercise and we take them lots of places. My son is old enough to walk, but on day trips it's nice to have a place for him too!

Check it out!

I will say this about a side-by-side... my sister had twins and really didn't like the one she had (Maclaren). While it was nice to have them next to eachother, that thing was so wide that it barely made it through doorways (and often didn't), let alone store aisles and other places you may want to take it!

LOVE my BOB Duallie, even though I am not a jogger. The infant seat takes up a lot of space though and I didn't use it any longer than I had to - it squished the other seat a bit. My kids are now 4 and 5 and we still use it for long days out at big events...like zoos, fairs, amusement parks, etc. It is expensive, but considering I have used it regularly for 4 years and counting, it has totally been worth it. You can't beat the handling, both seats recline independently, there's a separation between seats (not one wide bench), and really huge sun canopies with nearly complete coverage. Most definitely worth considering, and borrowing if you know anyone who has one, or renting if you live near somewhere that rents baby equipment.

I like my combo double, and it did hold the infant seat, but the storage basket underneath SUCKS!!!!!!!
The infant seat was fine in it--I found it worked best if it was facing outward, instead of towards me. It clicked in place and the infant seat was a Chicco Key Fit. The front bar is flexible, but I was never scared it wouldn't hold the seat.

I would look into the following three:
Double Bob
City Mini
Bumbleride

They are all great strollers and you'd be very happy with any of them.

This is what I have and I LOVE it - http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=109279...

Baby Trend Navigator Double Jogger - my Graco SnugRide infant carrier attaches securely to it, as do the Baby Trend carriers. I am sure many others do as well.

Well priced: about $220

We've used it at zoos, parks, Sea World, airports, and even the beach in Coronado.

I also have the Combi double umbrella stroller, but the cross bar is flexible. I would never trust it to hold an infant carrier (unless there is a different Combi that I am unaware of).
