Need Help Naming New Baby!!!

Hello Moms,

I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant with our 3rd and final child. I went for a sono on Tues. only to get someone who didn't have a clue what they were doing and so I don't know what I'm having (and didn't get to double check everything is ok with the baby so that's nerve racking!). Anyways, to pass the time till my next sono, I would like to go ahead and name our baby.

We've had our other two kids named before they even came into existence and just lucked out each time that they were the sex that we'd named. Our daugher is Shelby M'Lynn and our son is John Austin. Our last name starts with a 'T' and I do like the same initial names like Brooke Burns or something like that.

We've gotten some girl names we like but haven't put any together for a full name and would love input on that or other name suggestions. As far as a boy-we completely disagree on every name either one of us has brought up so we could definatly use some ideas for boy names!

Girl names so far:
-Lauralie
-Elizabeth
-Ella
-Rose (family name but not sure about using it)
-Isabella
-Tessa

PLEASE HELP!

What can I do next?

I may be partial to these boys names, since they are my boys, Talon and Gavin. Everyone tells me how much they like those names! My husband likes Beckett, too. I like Cooper and Max. Stay away from anything that rhymes with Aiden (too popular now). congrats on Baby # 3!!!

Good luck w names and the new baby ! My daughter is Meredith (no middle-a family tradition). (You might want to consider the spelling of Lauralie-she'll have to spell & pronounce it to clear up confusion. take it from experience!). I wanted my son's middle name after my grandfather : Marshall, so hubby & I went thru the whole alphabet before deciding on Cameron as the first name. I also like Adam, and my favorite is David. My neighbor is Roselle, combining 2 of yours. Also, Laurel.

We like names you dont hear very often, so our sons name is Chase Landon, and our daugher will be Sierra Lynn. If we were having a boy he would have been named Easton. I love the name Easton for a boy and you dont hear it often. Good luck in whatever you choose. Boys names are definatly harder than girls names to come up with.

Love your 'choices so far, of course mine and one of my daughters middle names is E. and the others middle is Rose (after my Mom). We thought about Ella and Emma but Emma and Emily were on the top of the 'popular' list. Isabella is my favorite! Anyway, some boy names:
Talon, Asher, Brayden, Colin. Girls: Chloe, Tara Lynn T____, --shoot- I still like Isabella, maybe Bella for short-wish I'd thought of it!
Mine are Victoria Rose and Brennan E., if the twins had been boys it would have been Talon Creek and Colin Hawk or Gaelin Hawk. (yes we like unusual) Good Luck!

K.,

We love Audrey Rose and Tam'ra Noelle (okay, so it's not Christmas...still pretty)... but that's going to make her initials T-N-T... ;-)

How about James Marshall for a boy?

Those are all really pretty names and congrats on your 3rd child! It depends on how popular you care the name is... For example Ella is VERY popular right now. I know about 10 little girls with that name... Isabella is all really popular. Just a thought.

We just had a baby boy and named him Brodan, but we call him Brody. Brodan Blaine would be cute since you like the same initials. Good luck and congratulations!!

Congratulations on your little one! I love the name Rose, Ella, and Elizabeth... I had a good friend that went by Lizzy :) As for boys, I have a Tyler and a Carter... I love that Carter is NOT common but I can't ever find the personalized stuff like ornaments and cups for him. We have a friend that just named their boy Grey (family name) I thought that was cute.

I also love... Gage, Cade, Gavin, Jayden, Jordan, Sydney and Mia.

Good Luck!

When I was pregnant, for a girl I like Elizabeth! I also liked Katherine with the nickname K..
For boys, what about Jack, Will, Duncan, Tyler, Jordan, Reese, Ryan, Nolan, Trevor (Tre)? All are pretty timeless and "fad proof."

I love Rose! My grandmother's middle name is Rose and it's so sweet when my grandfather called her Julia Rose. I'm from the south so double names are pretty popular although I don't even have a middle name!! I love names that have a significance. I wan't to be able to tell my son why I chose his name and I'd like the answer to be more than 'I thought it was cute'. My name is Piper and my parents 'thought it was cute'. Don't get me wrong I love my name and would NEVER change it! My son is named to honor my Dad's brother who died shortly after he was born and his middle name is the same as my brother's. I didn't meet my brother until I was 14 years old. My father had not been involved in his life at all and allowed him to be adopted by the mom's new husband. I chose my brother's name because he welcomed my father, sisters, and I as though he was never wronged by my father. To me he represents that family can overcome anything thru unconditional love. My son's name is boring but it speaks to him. In many tribal communities names are chosen for just that reason and I think that it's beautiful. Not knowing your religious affiliation or non affiliation I'd also suggest checking out what different saints names represent. Saints obviously have done something good and represent a particular morality that you would want your child to remember like charity or chastity...lol!
Or you could just have fun with it!! My name is funky and it has helped me have a funky personality. I'm sure I wouldn't be so fun if my name was Sally or Marjorie which is what my name was going to be!!
