Need Help Finding Baby Shower Invitations

I am hosting my best friend's first baby shower. She wants to have it in March and we haven't bought invitations yet! I just got married, so we're kind of starting late. She's really open to any theme, so that helps. But she defenitely DOES NOT want fill-in invitations. I just can't find any online that are actually cute and are not fill-ins. PLUS! We need them fast! We need to send out by the 1st week of February, can anyone recommend anybody?!?!?!?!

What can I do next?

Hi! My good friend has an invitation-making business and I thought it might be worth you giving her a try. Contact her at ____@____.com did my shower invitations and is very creative and helpful. She'd be great if the timing works out. Good luck!

I was given this lead by a friend: Custom Creations Unlimited. http://www.customcreationsunlimited.com/shop/invitations-49/

Also, maybe you can share with me the suggestions you get back, since I"m about to need invitations for a baby shower, also.

Thanks,
Judy

Try tinyprints.com I have ordered from them a couple of times, they have a great selection and personalizing the invitations is pretty easy to do.

I don't know where you are, but there is a place called Wilshire West Papers in Santa Monica that has a lot of adorable baby invitations and will print them in 2 days. Hope this helps!

I custom make invitations. Weddings, showers, birthday parties. How many do you need? I could probably make your 1st week of February deadline, depending on how many you need. We could tailor something that would fit your budget. I have samples and live in Sherman Oaks if you'd like to meet. Drop me a line if you're interested.

Try the Paper Goose Stationary store on Moorpark Street in Studio City. They have great stuff you can buy and print on your own printer or they can do it for you for a small fee but that takes longer. The invites are really beautiful. The phone number is ###-###-####

I agree with Amy Y...I have purchased numerous invitations, favor tags, favor bags from ebay. They were all personalized and beautiful! They are not expensive either, but yet not cheap, but you are getting personalized invitations.
Just go to ebay, type in babyshower invitations and many will come up. People are surprised when I let them know I have purchased personalized invites, tags, favors...from ebay. They all assume it is a bidding site, which it is, but it offers so much more.

I also purchased my daughter Gabriella's personalized letters for her nursery. They were all personally painted for her room and at $40 for all of them versus $100 at a posh boutique site, you cannot go wrong.

I hosted a Baby Shower Tea with another gal not too long ago and we found the perfect invitations through ebay for super cheap. The invites were hand made with our information included. We did the tea cup invitations, which can be done with different paterns depending on boy, girl, or unknown color schemes. It was a fabulous way to invite people and they couldn't stop raving about the invitations and shower. Here is a direct link to the vendor that sold them to us through ebay: www.apartywish.com. The invites were super cheap for what we received too! Some things we did to make a very "baby" themed tea was made diaper cakes as centerpieces incorporating some of the small items for which she had registered. We were able to buy many of the accents and supplies at the 99 Cent store and Dollar Tree. We floated some rubber duckies in the water/punch bowl. Just some ideas if you decide to go that route.

Another place to look for invitations is at the following:

The Art of Paper
19654 Ventura Blvd
Tarzana, CA 91356
###-###-####

They have an unbelievably large collection of fabulous invitations and stationary. You can either pay them to print the invitations for you, or in many cases, you can print them on your home printer.

Best of luck in finding the perfect invitations!

I own a business that does custom invitations, favors, and can help with florals & decor for your shower too (if you'd like). We have a store located at 18764 Ventura Blvd (between Reseda & Tampa) - Especially For You Designs, if you'd like to stop by to see some of our designs or sit down for a consultation & create something perfect for your friend. We work with all kinds of budgets, and offer a discount if you mention Mamasource. You can contact me at ###-###-#### if you're interested. Good luck!

Paper Source is fantastic. If you live in L.A. there are two locations. One in Beverly Hills and the one in Pasadena. The people that work there are amazing, helpful, friendly and ALWAYS
have a million ideas when it comes to personalizing invites! I go to the one in Pasadena and did my birth announcements there (this took four weeks, letterpress) but I have done two showers there and my sons 1st bday invites. They turned out great. You can also purchase online as well. Good luck!

Shutterfly does nice photo invitations. If you have a photo of your friend it could be really cute! Also, some Hallmark stores used to have in-store printable invitations. You make them right in the store on a machine. There's also Papyrus, but it would be expensive. Landis on Larchmont boulevard in Los Angeles offers traditional ordered invitations.
